Please don't label us all by Trump.. I am appalled by Jamal Khashoggi's murder

 

I know there's more Americans like you than the blind Trump supporters I was thinking of. Sorry for my clumsy stereotype

But I meant it when I said Australia rules the world. Were like the Roman Empire only more laid back

 

I get you. We are on the polar opposite side of the planet from you. Most here are poorly educated in our own government. If you asked every American to name our own president, a lot of them still assume it still is Obama. And frankly they are not even loyal Democrats but just are poorly informed. I am not kidding you. I personally am not alarmed they are not informed, but it is a fact here.

Your country has switched leaders fairly often. That may make you think you enjoy maximum freedom. While guns do kill humans, we here trying hard to impart freedom in this country see you as a disarmed nation that is easily persuaded by this or that leader. We know if one falls out of favor today in a flash you will get a new one. This has to be due to following what you got from England.

i have no particular loyalty to Trump. Trump is not invading. When he was screaming at the North Korea leader, our Democrats got very angry. I felt our Democrats felt a loyalty to the dictator in North Korea. I am quite serious.

Trump did a boner by recently saying he loves the dictator. A stupid thing for Trump to do. But Since our Democrats screamed that Trump hated Kim Jong Il, he stupidly turned his course to talking as if he likes the dictator. A stupid move by Trump. He did not end up pleasing the Democrats at all. They are a devoted group, but not to my freedom nor the public freedom at all.

Why blame Democrats? They want climate used to tightly control us like sort of slaves. Republicans do not preach loyalty to the few scientists globally that truly go full bore at man controls climate vs climate changes and over time changes from very cold ice ages to warming eras. Only for some odd reason, later reverses course and we fall back into a different ice age.

We republicans believe the danger of Democrats in this country is their hateful drive to collect higher tithes to their form of Government in the form of higher taxes on particular classes of human. If one works very hard, one can get very wealthy. i enjoy that freedom. It does not mean my wealth is the property of some lower class group but that I rightfully earned what I own.

Democrats teach if one advances, he or she morphs from a nice person to an evil person by working your fingers to the bone and actually planning and setting goals and now you live a comfortable life.

We sense that in your country you too have classes of humans you revile since they now are no longer poor.

Clearly since you live there, you have your own opinion. Seems you hate Murdock. Maybe that hate is well placed. I do not study him. But perhaps you simply are living in envy he managed to get to the top of his field.

We spend time doing Putin hating. I prefer to keep hands off. I prefer to keep hands off of your government as well. I notice though we attract the people of Australia that want to manage this country from halfway around the planet.

As I said, north Korea became a true global danger when they spoke publicly about attacking this nation I live in. Trump as i said pulled the blunder of his presidency by now talking nice about that dictator. Trump does things I do not like. I like much of what he has done, just not all of it. We republicans also do not like everything done by Trump. But what presidents have we ever approved all they do? We believe that the Obama lovers were part of a cult. I can show you videos where our school teachers forced the children to sing high praises to Obama and of course this acts to convert children to followers of his cult. Though he is gone, he tried to instill in this nation his personal cult. Some say Trump is doing this. We do not have teachers forcing children to sing praises of Trump.

If we sound resentful, at least you know why.

None of we republicans approve Khashoggi's murder. We see how fast Saudi Arabia arrested a number of their people and put them on trial very fast. Faster than if they were tried here in the USA. We will arrest a killer and a year or two later finally get around to pulling him out of his cell and actually giving him his day in court. We are far slower than Saudi Arabia to turn those wheels of justice. Trump does not have arrest power over citizens of other lands. So he could not put the killers of Khashoggi on trial. As i say, if we had the killers in our own cells, they would still be in a cell but not on trial. I appreciate how fast Saudi Arabia nailed their own killers.

Some wanted Trump to do a lot. But he did put heavy sanctions on the charged killers. But he can't simply arrest people living elsewhere.

Trump is not my friend. Trump is hired as president. Trump no doubt will piss me off. But it does not mean I will waste my day hating the man and screaming he is lousy. He can't please each and everything we do or please each citizen. No president can or will. We have a variety of views here. Those yelling about the Saudi murder mostly are Democrats. But we have domestic criminals and yet the Democrats never bring them to trial fast. They keep people not found guilty in jail for at times up to 4 or more years. Most get a trial faster, but we do put innocents into prison and it takes ages for them to finally free themselves from a prison. We are governed in this nation by Democrats laws. Flaws in our system are put down our throats by Democrats.

You can't judge our laws by our party other than the real legislation power is in the house and senate (since 1933 we spent far more years under Democrats power than republican power) and presidents are a small factor of creating laws. True they sign the laws but we seldom find a president vetoing any law. Republican presidents owe us the duty to be extremely slow to force laws on us. We lose freedom by adding law upon law. We find that we are virtually told what to do by Democrats. This started up seriously when FDR was president. Prior to that we had more true freedom than we enjoy today. America has become more dictatorial to the citizens since 1933 than other times in our past.

 

As a socialist, you won't find many here that agree with you. We find our socialists mostly are devoted to the Democrat party.

I am not able to name any blind Trump supporters who post here. We do not hate the man, but we are not blind and when he does wrong things, we do criticize him. But our Democrats spend their waking lives hating Trump. They make a mistake since Trump will only last a period of years and some other person then becomes president And the complaining starts a new round of hate talk.

 

We republicans will try to explain to you but I shall not attack you. We seldom find republicans lashing out first. We are attacked by Democrats and some of us then attack them in return. But our nature is not to attack others.

Our major goal is to preserve freedom We do not want groups attacking other groups. If I get attacked, it is very hard for me to not attack them back. But forum rules are more strict so one has to get his or her views out and try hard not to return the attacks made on us.

Take one of our famous republicans that I write about. Abraham Lincoln, Had he did his job without declaring war on citizens that did not favor him. I would appreciate him a lot more. But due to his war, over 630,000 Americans were killed. The South was attacked or actually invaded so some unnecessary war was waged against them. If a few got killed, though that is also bad, at least his damage would have been a lot less. Watch Democrats fully support him though. Amazing people our Democrats.

 

Apparently you favor a true global form of Government. Communists also favor this. I prefer your country and other countries settle things in their area by a means satisfactory to each nation. I do not want the USA to be the global ruler of the world or the so called leader. Let each nation find freedom in their land.

 

I once was a sponsor of fast pitch adult male softball teams. I ran into some of the pitchers and players of NZ and they are very excellent players. We did not chat about politics. But from things they told me, it sounds like a wonderful place to visit. My son went to NZ and to Australia prior to going to Europe to work. HE likes NZ a lot too. I think he said though he did find a job in Australia, he was not welcome to stay there past a short period of time. He is my stepson and he of course stayed close to his own father until more recently. Today this stepson by working smart and hard is wealthy. And it seems like he will only prosper for the rest of his life. He builds homes for more affluent people in Hawaii. He financed his father in a venture in Panama and has lost a lot of money helping his father. The way he told me the last I talked to him he wants his money returned to him and won't finance his father again.

 

Great. I am a critic of our MSM primarily over their one sided comments. They adored Obama but for the wrong reasons. I sold newspapers as a young lad and at that time the papers i delivered were 99 percent news and a small bit of editorial content,. Today for some reason our press gives us political news in the form of editorial comment and not news. Clearly our MSM hates Trump. Claims of FOX news loving Trump are misplaced. Shepard Smith is the front man of FOX News and that man hates Trump. He also hated GW Bush. He loved Obama. So FOX has talk shows where we find republicans get a better shake. But the idea FOX is only for republicans is wrong. I believe that Murdock backed Obama.

Just out of curiosity why do you and so many other Australians care so much about American politics? I know nothing about your country except that we saved you from Japanese invasion in WW2 and really don't care what you guys do down under. Why this obsession with us?

 

It might have to do with WW ll.

When I was in-country I earned a R&R outside of Vietnam and one of the choices was spending five days or so in Australia.

That was my choice but my 1st Sergeant said no way, R&R is "Rest and Recreation" and you would spend more time fighting in the bars of Australia.
The whole purpose of a R7R was to get you away from all of the fighting.

That back in 1969 Australian men were still pissed off that when they were fighting the Nazis while American soldiers, sailors and Marines were screwing all of the Australian women.

Aussies back when Austrailia was still great loved to fistacuff so much that inside the bars there were jail like bars separating the bar tenders from the patrons and all of the tables and chairs were bolted to the ground.

Ended up taking my R&R in Thailand. Should have just taken it at China Beach.
