    Most scholars I've read contend that Paul was actually a good deal more influential on Early, and especially later, Christianity, than Christ.

    Jesus wrote the philosophy, Paul interpreted it and put it into practice.

    You make the mistake of many Bible readers in that you let yourself be seduced by Jesus" poetry and power. Whatever else you may think of Christ he was one hell of a writer and knew very well how to make us smile and laugh and cry. Jesus told us how Christians should feel. Paul was concerned with how they should act
