You hope they don't but I guess it all depends who's in the White House and who is the Secretary of State who are suppose to vet the wanabe immigrant or foreigner requesting a tourist, business, student or immigration visa.

The Clinton State Department issued 18 visas to 19 of the 9/11 terrorist and Obama's State Department vetted and issued a visa to the San Bernardino terrorist Tashfeen Malik.

Acosta proved walls work. He did nothing to show there is no crisis.

What he did do is show walls address the crisis the professionals on the border, otherwise known as Customs and Border Patrol agents are saying is currently underway.

The issue is not just drugs. It might be helpful if you familiarized yourself with what is going on along the Southwest Border.

OK, I read the entire thread and there is a lot of lip flappin' but only one comment that makes sense and it involves cfhanging laws that democrats will never vote for.
So, we are back to your solution to illegals entering our country at will through an open border.

BTW, Big pharma does produce drugs that are smuggled in every day just for the record.

First of this thread directly contradicts another anti wall thread saying the wall is useless because most drugs come in by freight in trucks or ships and little if any are transported across the border.
Secondly the fact that the cartel has to go to such elaborate and expensive scheme's to get drugs under the fence proves the fence itself is indeed a deterrent and an obstacle.
Third is the fact that we find these tunnels and force the cartel to waste lots of time and money. Having said that new fencing should have some ground vibration sensing technology like Israel wall has. We will never 100% secure the border but we definitely can make it extremely difficult and expensive to breach and greatly minimize successful attempts.

Its the other way round. One of the 19 had a student visa, and the rest came on tourist visas issued by "W" state department. It is a moot point thought, because there was no reason to not issue the tourist visas to them, since they were not suspected of anything.

In the other hand it brings up the point of tourist visas, because more illegals come in on tourist visas.

If there is a crises, it can only mean the walls did not prevent it. Common sense.

No, it does not contradict it. The fact remains that vast majority of drugs are brought in through official ports of entry. An obstacle, yes, but since same amount of drugs still arrive it is a pointless obstacle.

I believe you got it backwards.

    http://www.fairus.org/issue/national-security/identity-and-immigration-status-911-terrorists

Really doesn't matter, it was the liberal's PC Immigration Reform Act of 1965 that allowed bad hombres into America with visas.

Before 1965 none of the 9/11 jihadist would have been issued a tourist visa.

This ain't rocket science. You oppose a wall that defines our borders and attempts to slow illegal immigration.
What would you do to accomplish this very realistic goal?

Silly post. These are the people they find dead in the desert, either murdered or from dehydration. If they find anyone suffering but alive they provide water and medical care. Your disdain for our own Border Patrol is apparent.

Where the **** will you get enough drones, agents, cars, the gear, the ****ing judges to implement “electronic surveillance” and see it through? And what will it accomplish besides improved statistics that’ll tell you how many Illegal Aliens are crossing the border every day?

    Not’n.

Or like a feeding trough, they always find a way to find the trough. The trough is US jobs and welfare. The total disdain for the deaths is on the democrats heads since they don't want to use the only way to stop this or at least discourage it, a wall. Fancy electronics and drones still don't keep them out, they only help find them once they are in and then they claim amnesty, get released, then never show up for their hearing.

I appreciate your vigor, defending the hopeless case. So, if Illegals will always find the way, why bother trying to stop them.. do away with borders, let them all come and help make America great again :applause:

maybe we should turn the desert/soil along the border into a non-newtonian fluid:

here's a video that explains it in such a way even a liberal could understand it... maybe???

Either that, or employ 100,000 trained German Sheppard canines... no matter what we do, the Libs will call it inhuman anyway, so might as well.

No need for judges to do electronic surveillance at the border. What will it accomplish? It will detect illegal crossings so the BP can apprehend them. This will cost a fraction of what the wall would cost to build and maintain.

Your words, not mine. You seem to have a habit of trying to insert your own inane "ideas" into the months of other posters. Not honest. They will find a way around a wall. I am sorry you are having such a hard time with this.

I don't see a crises either, and because there isn't one. Its rich they waited until they lost the control of the Congress until calling is a "crises".

    Sorry for being unclear.

I meant that I don't see any sense in the post; common or otherwise.
