    This man is a shame to the nation.

    Just to review what he has done - solely in terms of US sports - he refuses to toss the first pitch, disinvited multiple national championship teams because some of their players criticized him, launched a personal war and convinced millions of his base to stop watching the NFL for a year, forgot the lyrics to the national anthem during the college football championship, and is now choosing to serve fast food to another championship team.

    I guess Trump Steaks (cooked well done and with ketchup) was not an option. But at least they got to eat it on silver platters by candlelight.

    BTW, Burger King is still offering 2 Whoppers for $6.... Did Trump know about all these great deals??

    I think it would be hysterical, and quite likely, that these semi-professional athletes (it's Clemson.... using semi is debatable) will pass on the entire spread...... Barron might be packing his lunch to school for the next couple of months...

    The staff wasn’t there to prepare any meals and I personally would prefer fast food to some of the expensive stuff the elite eats. I have to ask, what would Mooch have served them?

    Ben's Chili Bowl is not technically fast food... it's a tiny chain in the DC area and they have a booth at Nats Park.... Try it if you are ever in town.... Not great, but very above average...

    And also notice Barack had the decency to not bring it back to the fricking White House for an official ceremony and serve it to others.....

    I think you are gravely incorrect here.

    As a matter of fact, considering the GOVT shutdown, Trump had every reasonable element for postponing Clemson's visit until the GOVT reopens when he can better accommodate them/better celebrate their accomplishment.

    But no he didn't do that politically correct thing.

    He went into his own pockets yes his own private income, to spend thousands of dollars in creating the most unique moment in Oval Ofc History concerning celebrating American sports champs in real time.

    This was an official White House function. As such, any money Trump decided to spend would have been reimbursed if he chose to do so. He could have flown in Kobe steak from Japan if he wanted to at no expense to him. The only thing that bothers me is did that stuff have mayo on it. I hate mayo.
