Trump entered office without a recession to fight. But he won the election on the impression by voters that the economic growth should be better. He promised growth of more than 4 percent. His voters didn't realize that such fast growth is unsustainable and dangerous. It becomes a bubble that creates a recession. By the way...have you checked the deficit and debt? Ya know, the one trump was going to cut.

90% negative coverage is about the same treatment that Reagan received. I remember that because I worked on Reagan's re-election campaign in 1984.

The only difference is the media saturation. In the 1980's, we only had CBS, NBC, ABC, The NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times, Time & Newsweek magazines, etc. Now we have cable news and the internet so the treatment of Trump seems worse than what Reagan received.

 

It's not that amazing that good things started to happen under Pres Obama when the GOP took Congress. It's even less amazing that when the GOP took the Oval and had a GOP Congress things got even better.

 

And Trump's npc's don't disappoint. Without all of Trump's nps's watching them, CNN & MSNBC wouldn't be able to stay on the air.
