I actually do know how responsible, ethical reporters do their jobs. They obtain the prima facie, which consists of something more substantive than "he said/she said", and other gems like, "according to an anonymous source who did not want to be identified". They fill their hands with something that will stand scrutiny and make sense, with roots in verifiable sources, standing on the story's "own two legs"! Then, and ONLY THEN do they publish it and present it to the world!

But, perhaps radical Democrat journalists have a different "rudimentary understanding"...? Subjectivity über alles!

So, you're an expert on the "rudimentary understanding" of journalism? Would Edward R. Murrow have published this vacuous crap about Trump/Cohen...?

[IMG][IMG] . Or, just tell them what you WANT them to hear.... :blahblah:

If this is true.. Surely every Trump supporter who supports our constitution will back his immediate impeachment.

    Why?
The Democrats told us perjury and obstruction - federal felonies committed while in office - do not rise to the level on an impeachable offense.

If they supported the Constitution Trump wouldn't be President.

Funny, then, how Trump is President -because- of the Constitution - and as a result, the rabid, hyper-partisan left wants to change it.

I was like 3 years old when this happened. What did Republicans say? Keep that same energy or get out of this debate.

    So?
Did the Democrats argue that perjury and obstruction do not rise to the level of an impeachable offense, or did they not?

They got a bunch of paper that they didn’t know what it meant and got a story they wanted from Cohen

You only quoted a portion of my response. As I understand it, you probably could be reported to the mods about this and suspended. Keep the same energy.

The remainder of your response was a red herring, and thusly ignored.
    Now then:
Did the Democrats argue that perjury and obstruction do not rise to the level of an impeachable offense, or did they not?

Sorry to take away the punchbowl on this:

    https://archives.cjr.org/politics/jason_leopold_caught_sourceles.php

The reporter of the buzzfeed article has a very long, well-documented history of partisan lying and plagiarism, often via "unnamed sources." Was that on his list of "achievements" you mentioned earlier? Bet not.

BTW when far left Columbia Journalism complains about LW lying, it's bad and real.

You aren't aware that the Democrats recently introduced a bill to amend the constitution to remove the electoral college?
You haven't noticed all the cries and whines and screams about abolishing the elector college since Hillary lost?

Like I said... I was a little boy when any of that happened. I have no position. Republicans in the house and senate right now were there when that happened. They argued that Bill should be impeached at the time. If we are going to keep the same energy as we did back then, and this is proven to be true, then surely Trump needs to be thrown out of office. Right?

This is disingenuous to say the least based upon what we know thus far.

What's that got to do with this topic? No one has said anything about changing the Constitution here. Deflection fail.

The Democrats did, and it was quite clear.
Don't you think this makes them rather hypocritical?
If this is your tag line, you need a new one.
    Not according to the Democrats.

What's that? I'm right? It's OK - you can admit it.
I suggest you read the post I responded to.
