Trump is a builder owner. As such he might be very skilled in constructing hotels today due to his past ventures that ended up 4 paws up.

Prior to the hotels, he had skills in apartment buildings. Doing what he did really to do it very well needs a university degree in what he was doing.

There has not been a single year that people engaging in business do not fail.

A multimillionaire friend of mine started his business in a small office that had been used to run an auto radiator business by others. He laughed a lot by calling it Radiator Realty. He actually named it by a different name but out of courtesy to him,.I shall not disclose the true name. But he joked by calling it radiator realty.

He was over some years able to move into a decent small office building as a renter. There he hired more agents.

He had a deal brought to him by a woman commercial agent. He purchased the 2 story large building from the actual owner directly and paid her a fee for locating it. I believe the fee was at least $10,000 and it was in the late 1970s.

The much larger 2 story building gave him a large office space he then leased to a title / Escrow firm. It was separate from the rest of the building.

The large building was in poor shape. So he put in a lot of money and made the first floor a very nice place to work at. It took longer to fix the upper story where he rejuvenated it too and put agents in that section of the 2 story building.

He was feeling his oats. Making a great deal of money, he located a lot.

Buying that lot in a upper economic of this city, he had a larger two story bulding built. This was even better than the other building he still owned. Agents saw the new building and wanted to move from the first one to it. They figured being in a more expensive part of town, they could earn more money. Well, once the brand new building was finished, designed especially for a real estate firm, he suffered agents not wanting to stay in the other building. He used the first building as security for a huge loan to build the second one.

Well, sadly he was now losing money on the first building. And he did not want to keep paying that loan. So he bankrupted that and it meant he lost building one but kept building 2.

So was he one lousy owner? I guess had he been involved in politics, democrats would revile him and raise hell over what took place. Clinton had a lousy economy for years and years. I don't think Bill was blaming Clinton. But even today he owns much more than the last built building. I believe he has more of such buildings and expanded his number of agents. Where his house is in this city, it sits on 100 acres of prime hilltop land. I think if memory serves me his home is more than 3000 sq feet. He had bought other 100 acre lots and perhaps still owns some of them.

Trump is hated by Democrats to the point if a faucet drips in any of his buildings, they move to hate him more and treat him like dirt. But this is not new for Democrats. They live to hate other people. Especially if they are worth a lot of money as is my friend Bill.

Well it hasn't run out on her destroying her E-mails and there were a lot of people involved in trying to get her off on that. She should have never been able to run for President. I hear at least 9 people from the FBI have been fired or let go. None so far has faced charges. Hopefully with the new AT, that will change. A lot of swamp to clean up.

Supposing, since you are a yacht captain, a wealthy barron in industry wanted to hire you to handle all such captain duties on his 500 foot long yacht.

Would you take the much higher pay though your experience was in much smaller boats?

Trump was not educated to be a hotel casino builder or owner. He has this habit of hiring management. So should management get any of the blame for the Casinos?

Subject: Trump and the skating rink

Having fallen into utter disrepair during the New York City fiscal crisis, unable to make ice, the city’s Parks Department embarked on a total refurbishment of the facility in 1980, estimating it would take two years to complete. After six years and having flushed $13 million down the drain, the city announced they would have to start all over again and it would another two years to complete. Wollman Rink had quite visibly failed. The Wollman Rink fiasco amplified the public perception of the general incompetence of government and their inability to complete even the simplest projects.

Enter the Donald. In late May of 1986, the 39-year-old Trump made an offer to Mayor Ed Koch. Trump would step in and take over the construction and operation of the project for no profit and have it up and running in time for the holiday season. Koch tried mightily and quite sneakily tried to reject Trump’s offer. A very public Trump-Koch feud ensued; Donald ultimately prevailed taking on the responsibility to finish the rink in less than six months for no more than $3 million. The city politicos could only hope that when Donald failed it would divert attention from their own incompetence.

Instead of failing, Trump finished the job in just four months at a final cost 25% below the budget. It wasn’t rocket science according to Trump. It was common sense and “management.” But the incident also demonstrated Trump’s mastery and command of public relations and how to attract massive amounts of free press.

Trump learned that the press likes drama and extremes--positive or negative--and was hungry for every morsel about this otherwise insignificant project. Any milestone of the project’s progress resulted in press conferences often with ceremony, pomp and circumstance, and frequently, celebrity-filled. When concrete was laid: press conference. Construction complete: press conference. The first ice: press conference. The Grand Opening included Dick Button, Peggy Fleming and Scott Hamilton to name a few. Everything became an event and free promotion. City officials stopped attending press conference because it was actually becoming an embarrassment. The rink which had been a perpetual money loser started making money immediately which Trump donated to charity. https://www.forbes.com/sites/offwhi...an-rinking-of-american-politics/#37cc9ac72fc8

I got the financial report from the Times and if it is like you present, I take back my report of 10 cents per share.

However this gives me a brilliant idea.

Kimmel and the View and many parts of the informing agents helping out the Democrats could refuse to be fair to Trump for their own personal profits.

Gee thanks for the updated information.

People don't care anymore because they are so used to the President and the Media lying their arse off.

When Progressives stop lying, people will stop caring about what a person like Trump thinks.

He is literally the "anti-politics" person and you guys trying to scream that he is a liar just proves the hypocrisy that got him elected.

This is what I am talking about

Progressives push talking points so often that are completely made up.

This has created a culture where people simply don't care. In fact, most people find it "cute" that Progressives are claiming they NOW care about the truth.

    Uh huh ....

By the way, trying to shorten my report, I forgot to disclose this.

I then owned as one of my 3 businesses, an appraisal firm. Bill called me with a request to appraise the new 2 story building to fight Alameda county taxes. I did it and it saved him a lot of tax. Bill also owned lots across the street so he asked me appraise 3 large homes for him since he was putting them on the market and wanted appraisals he could show to buyers.

I asked him later how close I got to his sale prices. He told me I was very close to his sales prices.

This old friend is very intelligent. So intelligent he hired me several times.

Here is what keeps me amused.

Obama complaining over Trump saying the election being rigged. Then he stoops to whining when Trump; won. After Trump won, suddenly Obama flip flops and changes his story. And his story is he was wrong that the election was tainted by people Obama promised us all could not meddle. Are you still smiling at Obama and his fake news?

I cling to her blaming our own military over Benghazi and acting in Congress like she simply did not care a turd in her toilet about those who died.

I cling to wondering with the vast resources at her disposal at State why she bought a server to keep at her home. And later I believe she was hacked by Russians.

See.. There you go again. All of those things have been litigated over and over and over again to no avail. Maybe that is why you cling to them?

Yes, well leaving aside the small matter that you shouldn't have been in Syria in the first place, count how many Americans who weren't 'killed by AQ', but because they were in Afghanistan at their own government's behest? I'm talking about those poor kids who came home in bodybags, and those who survived but with injuries which made them wish they had been fatalities? I can't remember how many it was, but it sure was far more than AQ inflicted. See what I'm getting at there?

So exactly what is it you think he wanted to do? I got the impression he was attempting to destroy IS, the terrorists who make AQ seem like humanitarians by comparison.

I don't know what you mean by 'Putin's besties'.

'the rest of the world' is a part of the orchestrated Russo-phobia, so it's no surprise that the US line would be loyally followed.

That is an obvious anti-Trump comment so I can't be bothered to discuss it in any depth. Suffice to say I wasn't kidding.

Trump is a reality star president, he doesn't care what the people think, Trump only cares about Trump - Dirty Donald's main goal is to protect his own fragile ego

You must mean by the Congress and that is like asking a chicken to deal with a heavy truck yanking it out of the hen house. Democrats hated her being investigated and blocked said investigation each step of the way. Look at how they have no evidence on Trump other than he hired a man who performed work for the Ukrainians who for some odd reason Democrats approved the president of being overthrown. I could say a lot more. But don't worry, i get it Democrats praise Hillary as the anointed one.

Perhaps he was seeking respect and found that the only people he could get any support from were his beloved "poorly educated" and the "deplorables'. That would be a severe shock to any one's ego.

Trump's first casino went bankrupt when Atlantic City was still thriving. The rest fell apart some years later, but Trump did himself in from the beginning with overly lavish furnishings and poor management.

First off, Trump is a micro-manager, ask anyone who has ever worked for him, or knows anything about him. He is absolutely terrible to work for, by all accounts. That is why I will never believe that he knew nothing of the illegal meetings in Trump Tower. But, to go on with your analogy, the captain is always the responsible party, even if he is not at fault. I doubt even you would disagree that Trump is certainly the master of his every business. Hell, I've heard he even picks the pictures on the walls and the furnishings, which most real estate developers leave up to an interior designer.
Secondly, a captain is licensed to his abilities. It is not some freeform art thing. What you are suggesting is to let a kid with a learner's permit drive a double semi rig. Preposterous.

Trump was a Democrat until they wouldn't have him on any ticket. They saw him as nothing more than the megalomaniacal, narcissistic lowlife degenerate with the temperament of a 10-year-old, the impulse control of a 4 year old and the moral compass of a severely wayward teen, that he is. Certainly not presidential material, which he is proving dat after day. He hates them because they saw right through his bluster and rejected him out of hand and he just couldn't stand that.
He even had some pretty kind things to say about the Clintons back when, before they became political fodder for his historically ugly, negative and divisive campaign for the White House.
As for Trump being a builder, that a bit out of the park. His involvement with the casino in Atlantic City was long before he ever put together any deal to have someone build a building for him.
His background was working for his slum lord daddy who wouldn't spend a penny more than necessary to stay ahead of the many lawsuits against him. Together they built nothing. The only thing daddy Trump taught young Donald was to stay one tiny step ahead of the law.
Read his book, "The art of the deal. It ain't about building anything; it's about conning others into doing all the work and financing everything.
Sadly for him, this doesn't work too well when you are president without the experience to hire help that isn't just a bunch of 'yes men' and back slappers.
