Sure thing. The person who is second in line to the presidency should travel without security on commercial airlines. I doubt pelosi hates trump as much as trump hates pelosi.
Bottom line is trump is asking for 5.7 billion for barriers including frnces which as you say Democrats have previously supported and financed. Now they say not one dollar for walls , fences ,steel slat barriers or barriers of any kind and refuse to negotiate and the reason is obviously purly political.
What people can't seem to understand is that illegals are doing work that Americans don't want. As I said, they should come in as migrant workers without permanent residency.
I have news for you, the person second in line for the presidency is the vice president. Where do you get off with this Pelosi thing?
Correction, the VP is first in line to stand in for POTUS. As in "one heartbeat away from the Presidency" A loony liberal elitist slush is second in line. As in "two heartbeats away to the Presidency."
That's not true. Sure they'll do anything. But they are also doing construction work such as foundations, masonry, stucco, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, roofing, painting, drywall hanging, interior and exterior trim like hanging doors, baseboard, soffits, facia and siding, installing windows, sod laying, landscaping, and general labor. Not to mention road work and manufacturing. These are all formerly blue collar jobs for high school grads, early dropouts, and anyone looking to start their own business in these fields. Illegals also shack up in one apartment/house and wire their savings back to their families, sucking that resource right out of our economic picture. And it ain't chump change when you're looking at between fifteen and thirty million illegals doing it.
No, the vice president is first in line to replace the president. The second in line is the Speaker of the house. English not your first language?
This is on the verge of getting very serious I’ve been out of touch today so I have to catch up on developments Hopefully trump remains committed
Americans on welfare should do all the jobs that illegals do No able-bodied American should be allowed to say that a job is beneath them
Work sets a better example for the children of welfare bums than cashing a government check each month We dont need illegals to do the dirty jobs in America We need welfare reform
Yeah, it's often referred to as a safety net. But the way it's set up or tweaked now, people have come to see it as an early retirement option, an entitlement, or a way of life. Which is a total corruption of the original concept. With our economy as strong as it is, now would be a very good time for, as you said, welfare reformation. But the left always seems more interested in securing votes and power than in streamlining or bettering our nation or our people. So they pander to human weakness, to sloth and such, and the continuation of dependence. The thing is, they aren't distinguishing themselves from conservatives by assuming the pose of compassion. They are actually separating themselves from the American spirit, right into the arms of strange and socialistic concepts. Such has been the gradual corruption, dying, and morphing of the Democrat party.
Thats well said and very accurate Sinator Phil Gramm once said it best To paraphrase, liberals turned a safety net into a hammock
Most immigrants did that when they came to the US - as well as the migrants in Europe and in Russia today as well. The alternative would be to have more American industries shipped off to foreign countries because of our high labor costs. Be careful that prejudice doesn't blind you to the reality of a situation. Such attitudes were prevalent in the past when there was an influx of immigrants. The best thing to stop this invasion from Central American is to make their own nations more livable. This can only happen if Washington stops intervening in the internal politics of other nations and installing corrupt politicians to benefit US corporations. Also if there's a money flow going into the country rather than out of the country and into foreign banks. I think migrants being given temporary work permits and sending their money back home to feed their families is a perfect solution - but first we would need a wall.
Do we need a welfare reform, or a readjustment of our economy so the money stops flowing into the pockets of a few individuals. The way it's going now it's only going to get worse as the poor get poorer and the rich richer. We once had a middle class but not anymore.
The difference is that immigrants who came through Ellis Island got here legally and filled a need for workers that does not exist today As for temporary work permits thats ok as long as no family members accompany the worker And they are paid a fair wage that an American would get But we have far too many lazy welfare bums who should be doing those jobs instead
If you remove illegal aliens from the workforce and throw able-bodied people off welfare the needs of employees and low oncome Americans will converge
I don't believe we had any immigration limits until the beginning of the last century. I know that there were wars in the 19th century because of the influx of poor and catholic Irish, not to mention friction between them and the blacks who were competing for the same jobs. I also know that an immigration law was passed in the 1920's stopping immigration from Eastern and Southern Europe because they were undesirable. Kennedy changed it. If these migrants were to receive the wage an American worker would get, then the business' would probably close or move to a foreign country. Business' are subject to too many regulations and taxes. If a migrant worker had a temporary permit and we did have a wall to register them, they cannot bring their families. Tucker Carlson had a very interesting talk about that. I didn't listen to the whole talk, but the drift of it was that at one time this went on only in places like Detroit, and today it's also in rural parts of the country. He attributed it to women making a higher income than men. It's turning them into bums.
We did not need immigration limits in the 19th and early 20th Century because America was an expanding industrial country who needed all the workers we could get But we didnt take just anybody Criminals or people with communicable diseases never got off Ellis Island and were returned to europe on the next ship
