Many crimes carry that penalty but the justice system can recommend sentences. I'm not a judge and the judge will decide once the relevant convictions are in place. Whatever the appropriate punishment is, should be carried out. No one is above the law...no one. And my personal opinion is that trump, his family and cronies will be shown to have committed layers upon layers of crime...small ones...large ones...and everything in between. They should be held accountable like any other American. And if they conspired with the Russians to steal an election and meddle in hacks in a Democratic election...that is treason...period. If it continued to the point where trump was doing Putin's bidding with regard to NATO, etc..that rises to a higher level of treason. And its not looking good for Putin's gimp right now. The Democratic Congress will do its job and hold open public hearings and the truth will come out. Once that happens, justice will be done. The punishment should fit the crime...how that comes to pass should be fair. That's all I'm concerned about as a decent American voter.
