Does anyone need anymore proof about where Trump's allegiance lies? Nothing quite like a President determined to undermine the US intelligence agencies in an effort to weaken the country . Here are his two latest attemps in tweets

" The Intelligence people seem to be extremely passive and naive when it comes to the dangers of Iran. They are wrong! When I became President Iran was making trouble all over the Middle East, and beyond. Since ending the terrible Iran Nuclear Deal, they are MUCH different, but....

....a source of potential danger and conflict. They are testing Rockets (last week) and more, and are coming very close to the edge. There economy is now crashing, which is the only thing holding them back. Be careful of Iran. Perhaps Intelligence should go back to school! "

You don't think the intelligence agencies should ever be questioned?

It's people like you who allowed Hoover and the FBI to collect private dossiers on citizens because it was wrong to ever question them or their motives.

Shame on you and your blind allegiance to big brother.

Iran is a considerably greater threat than North Korea.

As Atheists, presumably they think their experience ends with death. As Muslims, Iranians think they'll continue in paradise.

No the intelligence agencies can be questioned but it should at least be by someone with the slightest grasp of foreign affairs ( and that doesn't refer to having sex with non American citizens) That is different from a President trying to undermine and insult them. Particulary a President so stupud that he cannot even spell " warming" or who is just so ignorant that he would state that North Korea is no longer a nuclear threat or that he loves Kim.

They are certainly more of a threat now that we have violated the treaty with Iran. Fortunatly the other signatories are smarter than Trump so Iran is still as of this date living up to the provisions of the treaty.

Except that they're professionals and know what they're doing, and he's an incompetent moron.

Other than that, there's "nothing wrong".

Or like a president that says we have 58 states?

    Like that you mean?

This will be the end of Donald. When the intel agencies DIRECTLY contradicted him, instead of warning him, they would say such, is a portend of things to come. Trump will get his ides of march, and likely the man to thrust the first shiv, is Mitch.

The angry cartoon turtle will draw first blood?

That's an interesting theory. Please elaborate.

Compared to Trump that is a trivial spoken error. When you can find another President in history who claims to love a murdering dictator who starves his people please get back to us.

Well obviously Mitch is the one who got Trump to cave on his border wall shutdown. He must have some really good dirt on Trump.

So you agree that Bush was right to go to war because our intelligence agencies said that Iraq had WMD's?

That was just a mistake. It's not as though Obama actually believed that.

Now, Bonespurs J. Bumbledumb actually believes the idiotic things coming out of his orange mouth, and that's really troubling.

JFK failed to question our intelligence community (CIA) and JFK signed off on the CIA Bay of Pigs and the CIA backed military coups (assassination) of South Vietnam's President Diem. From that day on America owned Vietnam and became America's problem.

    Nice how you do that.

Obama's screw ups are just mistakes but Donald's aren't.

    lol

Wow, you can pretty much make up anything using that logic can't you?

And honestly, I'd rather have a president that believes in things than one that is so stupid he can't remember how many states are in the union.

    Wouldn't you?

So, what about the particular things that the intelligence agencies disagree with Trump about?

Making sure that you "question" the intelligence agencies doesn't mean that this is always correct, or even mostly correct.

Well to be fair here, Bay of Pigs was Eisenhower's plan and it was already set in motion when JFK took office.

Kennedy had no time or really no knowledge of the big picture to change it up in that point, it was already in motion.

I give him a pass on Bay of Pigs.

The intelligence agencies are there to provide the president with information so he can make a decision, not to make decisions themselves.

And you won't answer the question.

You can't have it both ways.

If Trump should listen to these people then you agree that Bush should have also which means you condone the Gulf War.

So is that what you are saying?

Imo there is a distinction between the overall “theat” posed by iran, vs whether or not they are developing nuclear weapons

We may have many reasons to dislike iran or to be suspicious of them. But saying all those things does not therfore make it true that they are now developing nukes.

Intelligence servuced say they are not, and that nk is. Trump says that because we dont like iran.... on that basis it is foolish to say they are not developing nukes. And since kim and trump are buddies, therefore we should pretend they are not developing nukes

Re iran, i think it is clear that we will not like iran policies in any case... whether they develop nukes or not. I prefer the case where we dislike iran but they are not developing nukes. Vs the case where we dislike iran and they are developing nukes. And i think it is reasonable to make the distinction. Which trump seems unable to do.... because all he can see is. IRAN BAD. He cannot see IRAN COULD BE WORSE

Mitch has been playing along, to get along. But, he HATES the personality, arrogance and dismissive attitude of Trump. And he will continue to play, till he is don't playing. He will not be caught flatfooted with the Trump albatross around his neck. That is coming very soon. He will pontificate, and distance himself. Trump will lose most allies. Mitch has already defied Trump a coupla times recently. ALL respect for Trump is GONE. That is just before the end.
