So you do not wish to drive a child anywhere or allow him to take a plane or go out in the front yard for that matter as all such behaviors have far more risk then having a family pet.

Wish that at least in HS people would be taught about how to judge risks connected to everyday activities.

Let see in my family my two uncles did not get to live to grow up one due to a cap gun misfiring and a doctor who did not clean the wound before sewing it up resulting in lock jaw and the other went ice skating and was killed due to a blow to his head a few day later.

All the family pictures dating back on both side of the family however was likely as not to have one or two large dogs in them.

In all my years on messageboards I've never read such a ridiculous defence of devil dogs as that. Essentially it's saying 'Hey, there are so many dangers that children have to face these days, so what difference does it make to add another one?' FFS!! :wall:

Actually it's so effing stupid I feel quite depressed now, that a sentient adult can actually rationalise it with such simplicity.

LOL so a risk so low it hardly can be measure should result in not having dogs or large dogs or some breeds of dogs or whatever in children lives?

As I said if you are so concern about children having any element of risks I would strongly suggest not first banning so call devil dogs but adults or even near adults males from being around children as the risk of harm from adult human males is far greater then from dogs.

What utter drivel - do you know any adult males who would tear chunks out of a child with their teeth until that child was a dead pile of flesh and bones? WTF makes you dog people tick that, for whatever redneck reason you'd keep killer dogs in your home where there are children?
