What does that mean? You need to think more before pronouncing statements like this or even using this type of rhetoric.

The plot thickens....of course if Maduro met with an "accident" created by the CIA, I suppose an organized press release would blame local militia....now thats never happened before.....has it.......

Rightists will support mass murder if it means defeating the Left. They were very supportive of Reagan's terrorist wars in Central America, even as tens of thousands of people were being murdered or disappeared. It is not terrorism if we do it or it's against the Left.

This guy on YouTube makes the case against regime change the most efficient way I've seen. Everything he says is sourced.

An article he points out that I didn't know about...

Right, left... these words have little meaning to me.

As far as I can tell, plenty of people on the nominal "left" are perfectly fine supporting imperialist policies.

The only genuine anti-imperialists that exist right now are libertarians like Ron Paul and greens like Jill Stein. Where do they fall on this "left-right" dichotomy?

I think we need to stop using such ill-defined terms, as they serve only to divide people who would otherwise be allies in the struggle against imperialism.

Yemen is a lawless country run by thieves. They have no means of supporting themselves agriculturally or economically. Aid is simply stolen. At least try to understand what you are commenting on.

Ron Paul was one of the few people in DC who actually cared about America and who promoted genuine American values.

It's no surprise then that you consider him a wacko.

You hate the founding values of this country, and you hate putting America first.

You might as well be a foreigner at this point.

    I understand it perfectly well.

Saudi Arabia is blockading Yemen and intentionally promoting starvation by bombing critical civilian infrastructure.

This mass starvation was not happen until Saudi Arabia started its war of aggression there.

What does that have to do with the US? Yemen pirates attack ships from all nations, you think that should be allowed?

I was referring to rightists. Not libertarians. But you're right. Partisan democrats support imperialism because the Democrat and media establishment tells them to. They have no core principles.

Google "US support Saudi Arabia Yemen." Google "Yemen world's worst humanitarian crisis."

The US is providing critical assistance to Saudi Arabia's war against Yemen.

And US involvement in Saudi Arabia's war has little to nothing to do with combating piracy.

Weird, you expect others to answer your questions, but ignore theirs. That seems fairly dishonest.

Neither Republicans nor Democrats have any genuine principles, so they do not deserve to be placed under an ideological heading like "right" or "left", as that implies a set of values held somewhat consistently. In reality, they're nothing more than selfish opportunists grasping for power. But I understand what you mean. I'm just quibbling about semantics because I resent the prevailing dialectic in which we are forced to operate.

Shutting down media is, again, not a socialistic thing, but a characteristic of tyrants.

I would look at the stats quoted in post 167 here before I made a judgment on Chavez. My understanding of the matter was that Chavez had been doing a fairly good job until oil prices collapsed and then he died, (which always puts a real cramp in your style) and his successors were nowhere near as competent as he had been. There is also the fact that Chavez's PR stunt of giving oil to poor people in the US mightily offended the USA oil barons, never a wise move when oil is your main resource.

In typical right wing fashion many here seem fixated on Socialism=Bad to the exclusion of any real facts to the contrary.

No, but I am familiar with wars of defense. Those are justifiable. Wars of aggression are not. Do you need me to explain this complex distinction further?

You said it yourself, Saudi Arabia's War.

Since 2015, the United States has provided intelligence, military advice, and logistical support to the Saudi Arabia–led military intervention in Yemen. U.S. stated goals for this assistance are to restore the UN-recognized government of Yemen and preserve Saudi territorial integrity from incursion by Yemen-based Houthi rebels. Deepening Iranian support for the Houthi rebels has also reinforced U.S. concern for Yemen’s trajectory.

The majority of U.S. assistance has consisted of aerial targeting assistance, intelligence sharing, and mid-flight aerial refueling for Saudi and UAE aircraft.

Yemen's Civil War is the worst humanitarian crisis, not the actions of Saudi Arabia. Although civilian causalities have furthered that suffering.

Saudi Arabia's war is only made possible with US support.

Therefore, the US is complicit in one of the worst crimes in human history.

Yet the same US is whining about "democracy" in Venezuela.

Such risible hypocrisy is sadly par for the course.

Wrong, the war is easier with technical support. It is still very possible without it.

The civil war is not a crime, that is the main humanity problem here.

You just choose to ignore the linked post I made. Typical.

Saudi Arabia's monarchy was created and is sustained almost entirely by western aid.

The Saudi monarchy would still be riding around on camels if it weren't for western technology and money.

So please explain how the Saudi dictators would manage to blockade an entire country using camels.

Intentionally starving millions of innocent people is indeed a crime. And the US is complicit in it.

Nothing in your link disproves anything I've said.
