You're right. Koine Greek and Aramaic were the languages used from 300 bc forward.

The Bible didn't exist until the committee wrote three master copies of it in the 680s-690s. Each copy weighed about 75 pounds. They were written in Latin.

The Magdalen Fragments are written in modern Greek. They are fakes.

Not sure where you are getting your info, but the bible as we know it was assembled in the Constantine era, cira 360 AD.

They decided which books go in, and which don't.

Did you know that the Afghans are supposed to be descended from the prophet Jeremiah and King Saul? They are supposed to be members of the tribe of Benjamin.

And we have a written genealogy from Ishmael to Muhammed.

    Doesn't mean it's true.

The Jesus character will toss your butt in the fire if you don't suck up to him. He's not a nice guy.

John 15:6(CEV) = 6 If you don’t stay joined to me, you will be thrown away. You will be like dry branches that are gathered up and burned in a fire.

Yes. That's what the pashtuns claim. Isn't there something scandalous about the tribe of Benjamin?

With the exception of a few verses in 4 books, he is a pretty good character.
Keep in mind, when they were writing this, they were scaring people.

As opposed to someone like Muhammed,
where 80% of the writings about him, he is robbing, raping, or killing someone.
It is the good verses you have to look for hard, and cherry pick.

The Jews have always worn "uniforms" because in a crowd of other people it quickly identified them as collaborators with the guys who carried the swords. They collaborated with the muslims against the Christians in Spain for 780 years.

Spain was an example where they sided together, but as always it was for military purposes.
The Christians were after both of them.
Of course the Muslims invaded spain, and the Christians re-took it.

Many Muslims still say Spain belongs to the Muslims.
Once muslim land, it is always muslim land, this applies anywhere, even Israel.

Actually there is nowhere near as much written about Moses, as there is Muhammed.
    We know how he prayed
    We know how he ate,
    we know how he sh-t.
    Favorite tortures,
    favorite murders,
    favorite sex quirks,

    etc, etc, etc.

Some American Indians claim to be a lost tribe.

    Doesn't make it so.

They also translated together and copied ancient manuscripts. Some Berbers had converted to Judaism and they fought with the Muslims to defeat the pagan Visigoths in Spain.

The Visigoths were mostly Nicene Christians by the time the Muslims rolled around. In previous centuries the Visigoths were Arian Christians, and tension with Nicene locals lead to a sort of alliance between Arian Visigoths and Spanish Jews.

The Visigoths, slowly, were forced to adhere to the Nicene creed and one of the effects was the breakdown in relations between Visigoths and Jews.

Indeed, by most Nicenes they were, though occasionally pragmatic politics would hint at a reconciliation. Those same pragmatic politics would lead the Visigoths, like their Ostrogothic brethren before them, to adopt the Nicene creed of their subjects. By the time the Muslims came onto the scene Visigoths were mostly Nicene, and this lead to the extremely poor relationship between Visigoths and Jews that lead to the situation you described before.

Pretty much the same events occurred between Muslims and Jews as occurred between Visigoths and Jews. As rulers of nearly the whole of Iberia, Muslims were a minority in a largely Nicene land. This lead to an alliance between them and the Jews. As their lands receded southward, more and more they became leaders of populations more Muslim and less Christian, leading to a worsening of relations between Muslims and Jews.

In answer to the question in the OP, I'm and atheist, but I don't claim to have any special wisdom regarding major life choices such as abandoning the religion of your ancestors. I did. Should other people? I don't know.

Muslims and Jews started out With the beginning of Islam with sh-tty relationships.
The religion was written around robbing and killing the Jews.

They did join forces in Spain to fight the Christians, but any of this is temporary, and after the dust settled it was back to normal.

A good example of this in todays time is where Sunni and Shia will join forces to fight a common enemy, but after it is over they will resume killing each other.
