Excellent point, what would have been local news is now reason to populate a town with SNG vans reporting the event 24/7.
Yes. Yes. Generally speaking, no, though some anti-gun states like NY it might be possible. My State has no idea what I do or don't own.
No, they're not. Actually, most of us do. For those who live in single family homes, they're called trees, many of whom predated the houses themselves. For those who live in high rises (condos/apartments, etc.) they have ACTUAL lightning rods on the roofs. You can't argue with facts. (PS... I've seen those lightning rods with my own eyes, and we're talking 20-25 years ago if not more...)
Nonsense. There may be a few who would like to see a country-wide ban on guns, but they are far and few between.
Then they should be publicly excommunicated from their parties, so the public understands that their views are not only unacceptable, but not shared by the rest of their respective groups.
There are still in use, I installed a lightning protection system on my home last October, it consists of eight air terminals (lightning rods) and four ground points all interconnected together with Class one copper main conductor. And just for fun I installed a single thirty six inch air terminal and decorated it with a home made copper weather vane.
Mostly groundcover, when you have fifteen acres grass gets to be a real pain to mow and expensive to maintain, when I bought this ranch that area in the background was nothing but sugar sand, but by spraying fertilizer out there a couple of years ago I was able to get the ground cover, mostly sweet clover and weeds to move in and stabilize the soil. Plus it feeds the honey bee's which are essential out here.
Why is their a maintained belief of validity in the propaganda being supported on the part of yourself?
Small groups, highly organized and zealous, are capable of influencing things on a grand scale, as history has repeatedly shown. The elites within both parties, but especially the Democratic party, are intent on seeing Americans reduced to subjects, serfs, and even slaves. Oh, sure... they'll permit us some small freedoms, so that we remain just productive enough to pay our taxes, but they cannot abide us having the means to defend ourselves effectively if necessary.
Well, no one's going to unilaterally ban firearms across America, but if you want to worry about it, by all means, worry about it. I'm more worried about having to go for the next 6 months without watching a good football game.
Tell it to the representative from the state of California who advocated the use of nuclear weaponry against individuals who refused to surrender their legally owned firearms.
I don't want to worry about it. I just do, as should any reasonable person who cares about their right to keep and bear arms. "The natural progress of things is for liberty to yeild, and government to gain ground." --Thomas Jefferson
No, you worry about it because that's your thing. I've seen it all come and go and guess what, guns are still here.
Such is insufficient reason to simply ignore those who are vocal about their hatred of the constitutional rights held by others.
Odd, for over 200 years the 'right' has been armed and not killing people with impunity. Why exactly would this begin now? Oh right, so you can grab our guns to save us from ourselves, even though there is no evidence that would be beneficial or necessary. Gun grabbers are evil...
Total lies all. If liberal scum would stop slapping criminals on the wrist and letting violent offenders out of prison early we would see a massive crime redux. The average convict in the prison I worked at was arrested from 8 to 11 times before being sent to prison, according to the warden. I saw convicts that were on their 2nd and third visit. No, liberals are the problem, with their failed social experiments killing us all. Look at this scumbag liberal governor in New Jersey. Supports letting violent criminals out of prison, and calls for more gun control when one of his failures kills again. Liberals OWN this. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/nj...-shooters-early-prison-release-as-the-problem
