Question for "Medicare for all" supporters... Does that include illegal aliens?

You could not round up 11 million people if we dedicated the entire military to it for a decade

 

Worth noting that rounding up and deporting people is not something that civilized nations engage in however BLOTUS supporters don't seem to care.

Nope...not REQUIRED at all. People are free to make statements, ask questions, offer opinions, etc. but no one is REQUIRED to do so. The person you replied to clearly stated they didn’t have an answer to resolve the issue. Why is that not a good enough response? You do realize an opinion posted on a message forum isn’t going to actually resolve any issues anyway, right?

Must have been six years ago now.. They did it to get rid of what they call "overstayers".. Workers who no longer had a sponsor or a job and had overstayed their visas.

They do a small round up every year, but 6 years ago it was a couple of million.

 

I do not think Medicare for all should be given to illegals who aren't supposed to be here in the first place. We should be bringing in high-skilled immigrants who can contribute to our programs, not drain them. Medicare for all doesn't have to be a government takeover of healthcare. Many developed countries have a basic tax-funded government insurance that tries to be cost effective and affordably covers most medical conditions. We can allow private insurance if you want anything fancy beyond that. We can have public hospitals that try to be cost effective, and allow private hospitals and research hospitals too.

We are not responsible in any way for how dysfunctional Central or South America, or the Mid East is now, was in the past, or will be in the future. Most of them have always been dysfunctional. In the case of countries like Venezuela they were actually doing fine, until leftists took over and destroyed them.

No. The poster in question ducked the very simple question I posed in the OP by posting a tangential red herring. When challenged on this by me he replied he did not have an answer. Hence, my subsequent interrogatory.

That's your opinion. He offered up his opinion...just because you didn't like his opinion doesn't mean he didn't offer one. Can't say I blame him for ignoring you.

So....based on what YOU posted in the OP and the thread title, YOU wanted to hear from members who SUPPORT Medicare for all. Not sure why you're struggling to understand why I didn't go beyond telling you I don't support Medicare for all.
