You saw groups of penniless illegals getting up the down payment and credit ratings necessary to buy million dollar properties?

it's a well known alternative fact that illegals are brilliant money managers who are able to stretch their minimum wage incomes in order to purchase million dollar homes

the rights implication that illegals don't any of those things...my wife's cousin is an illegal in Cali, she's been working there for 30 yrs...all those security issues didn't prevent trump from having illegals work at his golf resort...

that's subjective, some would say it never was and others would say it never stopped...
I would say that's just an authoritarian political slogan borrowed from 1930's Nazi and Fascists to stir up the base...

Pssst you may want to check your "alternative facts", Mexico has no border fence on it's southern border, there is virtually no border control people freely cross it...Google Earth is your friend...

correct that would drive down the price of housing...the city center neighborhood I lived in as child was a middle to upper income filled with impressive large single family homes...I returned 30 yrs later looking for a property investment(the same home I lived in) only to find squalor and overcrowding with 4 families sharing one common kitchen and 2 bathrooms, an entire family of 5 living/sleeping in one tiny bedroom...the home was relatively inexpensive but I wasn't interested in being a slumlord....

I'll believe that article once I stop hearing about the storms coming onto the CA coast and marching across the US. CA has droughts because it's really a desert with most of its water coming from the High Sierra snowpack, You've never seen Chinatown? that was based in reality.

fresh water being a finite resource simple math should answer the question why...

population increases, water supply does not, water supply is decreasing due to excessive irrigation, waste and climate change...

only in the alternative facts world does water supply increase in step with population

Internal Revenue Service data would appear to show that the middle-class and middle-age residents are the ones leaving, according to Joel Kotkin, a presidential fellow in Urban Futures at Chapman University in Orange, California.

"We know the actual net migration out of California has been growing," said Kotkin.

Furthermore, Kotkin believes the outmigration from California may start to rise among higher-income people, given that the GOP's federal tax overhaul will result in certain California taxpayers losing from the state and local tax deduction cap. "They are the ones who will tend to have the high property taxes and rely on writing it off," he said.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/19/cal...ousing-costs-and-taxes-are-fleeing-state.html

With fewer tax write offs, housing will have to come down, although taxes will remain high.

No system is flawless. However, the more employers required to use systems that do filter out the more blatant situations, the more likely we will have less illegal immigration. Take away the sweets, and you'll have less wasps hovering....

As to Trump, I highly doubt he was personally responsible for the hiring. It is, however, being remedied.

The cost of housing in California is a direct cause of overpopulation.
For over 30 years the Democrats in Sacramento have had the welcome mat out at the border.

California's homeless problem is a direct cause of failed liberal policies.
Even Gavin Newsom took credit for San Francisco's homelessness and feces on the sidewalks just before the midterm elections.

California's homeless today aren't the same as they were twenty years ago.
In L.A. County over 20,000 Americans live out of their cars and they all have an income but can't afford a home because there isn't any real affordable housing in California anymore. What affordable housing there is is occupied by illegal aliens.

12 year waiting list for Section 8 housing in L.A. County while 500,000 illegal aliens occupy subsidized housing in the county something to do with anchor babies.

$1,800 per month for a 900 sq ft apartment is affordable housing ??? :roflol:

In fact illegal aliens increase the cost of housing because they will put a dozen illegals into a 700 sq ft apartment and all contribute to paying the rent so the landlords keep raising the rents knowing that illegal aliens always pay their rent on time.

Todays California's homeless also include the tens of thousands of convicted criminals who have been released from prison under Proposition 47 and 57.

Yes ,but unfortunately modern showers use too much water as people tend to stay in showers much longer than really necessary and modern showers use high flow rate. Unfortunately most people don't know this and believe that they are saving water by having a shower

The majority of the Democrat politicians in California shouldn't have a problem leaving California because their roots in California and in America are very shallow.

Most of the Democrats politicians in Sacramento with Spanish surnames are anchor babies who held on to their illegal alien parents Mexican politics.

that's true...I love a long hot shower and have a multi-head spa, it's like a car wash but it's wasteful and I rarely use it...I installed low flow heads and even then I still keep the flow to a minimum and only spend as much time as required to clean up...

is it any wonder? here's a rundown of some recent (year or so) regulation changes in cali, some are quite the 'eye opener', 'head shaker':
(was an email from a 'member' that lives there and quite involved in politics)

The largest ethnic group in America is German.

Just think if America was a German speaking nation...

America wouldn't have gotten involved in the stupidest war ever fought the First World War and if we did we would have fought alongside the Germans and Hitler would have never came to power and there would have never been a Second World War.

War in the Pacific with Japan would still likely would have happened since the fuse for war with Japan was lit in 1905.

But Japan still needed the Mandate Islands (Central Pacific Micronesian Islands) that was German Territory before WW l.
It was the only reason why Japan declared war on Germany in 1914 during WW l.

For Japan to fight the biggest naval battle in history, sinking the U.S. Navy fleet in the Central Pacific, Japan needed those German islands.

One problem...America adopted War Plan Orange in 1924 that was used to defeat Japan during WW ll. That naval battle never happened because Plan Orange called for allowing Japan to occupy the Philippine Islands and there would be no U.S. Navy fleet sailing through the Central Pacific to recapture the P.I.'s.

McArthur's army and the P.I.'s were expendable.

California pays a $1 more for gasoline per gallon.
One of the highest state income taxes in the country.
    9.5% average sales tax.
One of the highest rates for electricity.
And the Democrats in Sacramento want a water tax at the faucet.

Have deep roots in California but I'm actually considering running away from California's problems and moving to a free state where you still have personal freedoms.

It was Candidate for President, Ronald Reagan who coined the phrase "Make America Great Again."

I only have two semesters of high school German but never read any where when Hitler or the Nazis said "Make America Great Again."
