Do you know why they are called liberal activists? Because they over turn badly written laws written by Republicans. Former Chief Justice Rhenquist in his book lamented on the waste of court time and money by laws being passed by Republicans to appease their base knowing full well that the courts would overturn them and that they'd claim that they tried but the evil activists judges blocked them. He called it a sad burden to be put on the judiciary and an abdication of responsibility by lawmakers. William Rhenquist can hardly be called a liberal.
There have already been three times that the Trump admin has been ruled against by Trump appointed judges already.
Granted, the senate failed to do it's job during Obama so Trump could stack the courts and is failing now to adequately screen Trump's appointees but I do agree with the current Chief Justice Roberts that once appointed judges try and follow the Constitution, and those that don't have judges that will over rule them.

 

Trump is not very smart. He is conniving. Little Miller, that white supremacist sob, is very smart and probably figured this out.

How many cabinet members has he gone through while President? Why didn't Mexico pay for the wall as promised during his campaign and after his election? Why didn't the President who claims to be the best deal maker in the world shutdown the government and eventually sign off on a budget giving him much less then the five billion dollars he requested? The fact of the matter is the American people elected a president who hasn't got a clue of what he's doing and most Americans ended up with an empty bag.

 

Trump's major tactical error was not getting this stuff done when he had the majority. Now he has to grovel in front of Nana Pelousy with his hat in his hand.

If I recall, it took the House and the Senate Republicans a good many months to get their act together and support their president; most of them were confident together with all the Democrats, Trump would not last a year before being impeached and hauled into prison.

1. I don't care how many cabinet members he has gone through. Meaningless bullshit.
2. 700 miles of "wall" have already been built by past presidents. How the wall will be paid for is yet to be determined. Will it be a result of restructured trade agreements? Will it come out of the withdrawal of US troops from foreign countries? Will it come from California repaying the US government for their failed train to nowhere that they just trashed? Will it come from monies recovered from the guilty conviction of Guzman? Maybe it will just come out of my pocket which is far better than having nothing separating our country from another. BTW, I would like one built on the US Canadian border also.
3. Actually, Trump wound up with more than he asked for. Pelosi told you there would be not one dime for the wall, Trump got nearly $2 billion and that combined with monies he will get from other sources will exceed the $5 billion he asked for. BTW, if he only adds one slat to the wall I appreciate his attempts to keep his promise to working Americans that voted him in office.
