Lots didn't mind Jews but hated Christian boys being killed for their blood. And lots didn't mind Jews but hated their banking conspiracies. And lots don't mind Jews but don't think they should infest other countries or have a nation of their own. It all sounds anti-Semitic and racist to me.
I marvel at their heart and civic contributions but I find Israelis dishonest and incredibly rude and abrasive.
Do you know the history of the confiscated dairies? Initially the Templers concentrated on farming - draining the swamps, planting fields, vineyards and orchards, and employing modern working techniques unfamiliar to Palestine (they were the first to market "Jaffa Oranges" - produce from their Sarona settlement near Jaffa). https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-22276494
Jewish farmers in Europe were quite successful. As a result of their success they were driven off the land. They took up banking and finance. So people hate them for that too. People hate Jews for two main reasons - 1 - they are different 2 - they are successful. The issue of Palestine is just simply the latest iteration of this hate.
Cant be more specific than that. Would have to research the topic. But I have heard that many times - Jewish farmers, Jewish land. In some countries Jews are not allowed to own land. Certainly lots of Arabs felt that way about Jewish landholders in Palestine. Which is a bit rich considering that many Arabs migrated to the Levant due to increased economic activity by the Jews, and this land once belonged to the Jews.
I Googled "Jews Farm Land" and will copy and past the first of 21.6 million entries - Wikipedia: Jewish agricultural colonies in the Russian Empire were first established in Kherson Governorate in 1806. The Ukase of December 9, 1804 allowed Jews for the first time in Russia to purchase land for farming settlements There are other reasons why Jews left the land - including religious observances and a desire for urbanization, but certainly, people who hated Jews didn't want to see them as land holders.
Russia also gave them an autonomous region that was rich in oil, fresh water and rolling fertile farmland.
Don't know. Sounds plausible - different regimes had different attitudes towards Jews in Russia. Not sure oil was a big issue in 1804 though. Any autonomy would not have lasted long - life for most Jews in Russia was rough. Google "pogrom."
I can't remember what the area was called. Jewish autonomous region resources and economy. This region has one of the richest concentrations of mineral resources in Russia. Deposits of more than 20 mineral resources are explored on the territory of Jewish Autonomous Oblast, including large deposits of iron, manganese, tin, gold, graphite, brucite, magnesite, zeolites.
Birobidzhan: Russia’s Jewish Autonomous Region is not so … Jewish-Russian-American lesbian writer Masha Gessen’s new book Where the Jews Aren’t: The Sad and Absurd Story of Birobidzhan, Russia’s Jewish Autonomous Region is more of an interpretation .. https://www.peoplesworld.org/article/birobidzhan-russias-jewish-autonomous-region-is-not-so-jewish/ established in 1934
Is that the land locked area in Siberia Stalin was planning to deport all Jews to had he not died? Rolling fertile farmland how many months of the year? oopsy, that has to do with South Africa how?
Birobidzhan was rich in oil, minerals including gold, fresh water and fertile soil. https://www.britannica.com/place/Birobidzhan
I wouldn't have the time to trawl through all this. Technically I am at work!!! Treatment of the Jews after 1917 with the Bolsheviks improved dramatically. My view of Jews in Russia is confined largely to the topic of the Pale of Settlement in Western Russia - most Jews were confined here. Yeah nothing, shrug... It's more the tale of man's inhumanity to man. and as a sop to the feminists - women's treatment of women. The whites of South Africa are becoming like the Jews. It's been said that you know the game is up for that country when you see the Chinese leaving.
I believe that was area that was conquered from the Kingdom of Poland - Lithuania. Poland had Jews. Ref.: Polish King Casimir the Great. Russia and the Orthodox Church forbade Jews in the motherland. Tried to manage their new Jews in the Pale. And Lord, What that has to do with South Africa I do not know Only 10 months left to "Day of the Vow". December 16. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Day_of_the_Vow
