Being in the majority is not necessarily a sign of right, moral or needed. Its a sign of popular.

Many on the left are prone to feeling their way through life. Feelings are often a source of incorrect thinking and wanting to be popular and perceived as nice or helpful. Often it is just short term selfish behavior.

Rightists expanded government more than anyone else. The military industrial complex wouldn't be so big or so corrupt if it were not for the deluded far right. It is that corrupt and treasonous group that foments profitable war and they use it to line their pockets at everybody's expense.

    1. We now have a President (non-liberal) who has had 8 of his closest friends & top advisers plead or found guilty of felonies. Several are already in prison. Others are awaiting their turn. The Trump administration has already broken all records for the most corrupt administration in American history, and they've not yet gotten to the core participant--Trump himself.
    2. First, as a liberal, I disagree with your hypothesis. It seems clear to many of us that conservatives practically worship successful business owners, and often claim business is the answer for every problem--which is nonsense. In fact, the entire focus--or reason for existence--for business & government is VERY different. Capitalism says the purpose of business is to make a profit for its owners. Conservatives agree, and disapprove of liberals advocating the sharing of profits with workers who make those profits possible. The purpose of government is to provide services to the people whom that government serves. Businesses are poor providers of needed services unless they can make a profit. Government seeks to provide services without concerns over profit. They each have an important place in any society. But government must oversee frequent extremism practiced by companies to increase profits beyond acceptable limits, or companies that follow policies that monopolize sections of the economy at the expense of everyone else. Big business has a natural affinity toward questionable or illegal practices for self-promotion, and as a consequence, make those who support their cause with enthusiasm, a more likely practitioner of corruption. Based on these observations, I find conservatives naturally more prone to corruption than liberals. :)

Hey wait! Back up, please! You try to demonize democrats for something that happened in a former era. Then you turn around and praise people like who attacked Pearl Harbor.

Why aren't you an equal opportunity hater?o_O

It’s strange you get your opinions based upon politics that is 50 to 100 years old. Not very relevant. Right now, republicans are all championing voter suppression. That makes them the racist party . Republicans are the party of Trump. The racists that attend his rallies think he’s a racist. Can’t argue with that.

That's true. It's not relevant. But it's hidden and that outrages me.
In Australia it's not known that we had the highest gun ownership
in the world. A museum exhibit on it was closed by anti-gun activists.
I don't want a society awash with guns, but I don't like people re-
writing history like the Democrats in America have done.

If it’s a different party with different ideals, it’s just as irrelevant as the Republican Party 200 years before. History should say that. Todays Dems are not the same as the Dixiecrats of the south. We all know what they were and what they stood for.
    No one has rewritten history.

So how is it that the majority of history students today don't know
that the slavery of the past was essentially a Democratic phenomena?
    By subtle omission.
Instead of hating the old Democrats we instead hate white people, or
we hate America itself. That to me is rewriting history.

And the Left has the utter gall to say the Right controls the media
and the culture. I have a single rule, "Treat any allegation of the hard
Left against the Right is an omission of its own guilt."
I have tempered this over the years to "... any allegation of an
extremist..." as I see it on the right too.
Hence Hitler's "Aryan supremacy" and "the Jews want war" and
Stalin's "someone is plotting to kill me."

So, you’re saying minorities should all vote republicans now because the Democrats were racists two hundred years ago ?
Which is the party of voter suppression ?
