    Yes, as they are human and do what all humans do if given the power, benefit themselves at the cost of everyone else.
    Giving them the power is the stupidest thing any human could do.

    Totally agree with Trump Jr. comment. I had a discussion with my boys when they left for College.
    I told them not to be intimidated by Professors who push their Political views. And to stand up for their beliefs.

    As a European, I can only laugh at this fundamental debate and these idiotic expressions of the American Right and Conservative Clown over and over again. Socialism ... wow!

    Yes, I know ... since the beginning of the Cold War, the term "communist" is worse than any swearword and communists are worse than Nazis. And everything that somehow has the Thermus "social" is directly under the general suspicion of being "socialist = communist = abysmally evil".

    I think that's just funny now, what's going on in the US and if such a clown son from the boss clown such sentences of himself, then it will even more ridiculous ...

    Yes we do. I'm not advocating for leaving things as they are. Govt health care isnt the answer though. The answer is spending cash for routine care and insurance for major illnesses. Prettly much like you do with your car insurance

    You DO know that your argument about Nordic countries is simply a rationalization on your part and is not based on fact. They are welfare states now? How soon (in your shallow opinion) before their collapse?

    I am fine with that. Universal coverage and max out of pocket yearly a couple of thousand. Its reasonable and at least you wont go bankrupt

    An interesting fact about the Netherlands you may or may not know - the Dutch government pays it's homeless and vagabonds around $1,000/month, and they promise not to panhandle.
