Justice Department preparing for Mueller report as early as next week

Washington (CNN)Attorney General Bill Barr is preparing to announce as early as next week the completion of Robert Mueller's Russia investigation, with plans for Barr to submit to Congress soon after a summary of Mueller's confidential report, according to people familiar with the plans.

The preparations are the clearest indication yet that Mueller is nearly done with his almost two-year investigation.

The precise timing of the announcement is subject to change.

The scope and contours of what Barr will send to Congress remain unclear. Also unclear is how long it will take Justice officials to prepare what will be submitted to lawmakers.​

Some might. Most of them are too far gone to realize their TV has been lying to them for the last 2 years.

 

That depends almost exclusively on how much of the Mueller report gets hidden by Trump and his AG.

Everyone should immediately begin to demand that the report get released, in its entirety, to Congress and thus, to the American public.

The report notes that on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, there were large boxes and files being taken out of Mueller's office. That is an unusual move and it signals that even though the Mueller investigation may be finishing, there are a whole host of ongoing investigations from other jurisdictions which will continue.

 

Personally, I trust Barr to handle this thing appropriately. He is in no way beholden or "loyal" to the orange buffoon. He is a far cry from what the acting AG has been, and even that guy wouldn't do every dirty thing the clown asked him to do.

 

So.. whatever Barr releases, you'll accept.
Even if it leaves Trump in the clear.

 

So it's a report... which for starters means that indictments against Trump, Ivanka, Jared, Trump Jr., even Barron that fake news media have for 2 years been promising to salivating liberal TDS cretins as a distinct possibility aren't happening....

Oh, wasn't almighty Mueller supposed to haul Trump and family to testify under oath, in front of the grand jury? Not happening either?

I was thinking this exact same thing.

They are going to crucify him and say he was incompetent or bought off and demand a new investigation.

Mueller will never work in Washington again.

I almost feel sorry for him.

no actual legal system type evidence, and i'd suspect moments after it's release pelosi crew will blab out about trumps tax returns showing nuthin more than everyday business transactions, while insisting they're connected to the meuller inuendos somehow...

 

I just don't expect Barr to corrupt the DOJ or interfere unjustly in Mueller's probe. I believe he is most likely a man of integrity, given his record. Same as with Mueller himself and the rest of the DOJ at large. I'm confident he will make no effort to cover up any wrongdoing, and yes, I will certainly accept whatever Mueller comes out with. I don't want the orange menace to be guilty of colluding with the Russians. I really don't.

But it's clear that he does place too much trust and faith in V. Putin. He seems alarmingly naive and stubborn on that front.

 

Prediction:

If the report exonerates Trump, the Left will not accept it as being accurate and will vilify Mueller.

If the report implicates Trump, the Right will not accept it as being accurate and will vilify Mueller.

Easiest prediction I have ever made.

Trump will be named an in-indicted, unwitting conspirator.

 

Inb4 "Mueller is a Russian agent".

 

I am fully confident that whatever Barr releases form the Mueller report, it is solid and sound.

so when the report doesn't give you want you want its going to be because they hid it?

It's a real shame that the entirety of the report is not required by law to be published right down to each and every deposition and interview, and a court reporter taking down all of Mueller's meetings and phone calls also being published, instead of certain aspects being prohibited by law from being published.
