FoxHastings said: ↑ That does NOT prove that the law allows women to have abortions at any time. Who did you want to define "health" ? YOU?? HILARIOUS!!! NO where in that law does it say women can have abortions at any time in gestation for no reason.. NO WHERE.....
There is no such thing as a 3rd term abortion due to health and safety of the mother. If the pregnant woman is in her 3rd trimester and a medical emergency happens, they can take the baby by c-section or induce labor. No reason to KILL the baby at that point. It can live outside the mother.
Then show the words in the law that say a woman can have an abortion up to 9 months for no reason. THAT is what Anti-Choicers here are contending and not ONE has shown where it says that in the bill....NOT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There’s another strawman, that doesn’t happen but You make up a ridiculous scenario so you can get yourself all emotionally hysterical. You must really have a low opinion of women to think that they do that
Oh great. Another Abortion discussion (that belongs in the Abortion Section) wasting bandwidth in Current Events (that will turn into 30 pages of people regurgitating ancient Pro-Life copypasta).
Sometimes they can’t do that. And once again you’re creating false scenarios to make it sound commonplace
Depends on the condition of the fetus. Is it a Encephalocele baby that wasn't diagnosed early? Is it a baby with large cancerous tumors? Not every pregnant mother has good access to pre-natal care or screening. Some mother's develop life threatening complications near the third trimester. Basically, until every uterus is perfect and every implanted egg perfect - there needs to be an OPTION for late term abortion. And doctors can't be hamstrung worrying about whether they will be tried for murder if they have to make a life or death decision with the mother.
If the mother has a life threatening issue, they can take the baby alive in the 3rd trimester, they do not have to kill it. It can live outside the mother, so the mother can get the medical care she needs. If the baby is born with a fatal condition, are you okay with killing it after it's born? You're okay with killing it just before it's born for the same reason. If it wasn't caught early enough during the pregnancy, it's too late. And I do want to remind anyone who is reading this that I am pro-choice but not late term. Once the baby can live outside of the mother, there should be no option of abortion.
You don't "kill" a terminal baby. It dies on it's own. What - do you think doctors and hospitals stand around waiting for the chance to kill a baby? Do doctors all wear hockey masks and operate with chainsaws in in your world view? This change in law does ABSOLUTELY nothing to change the Hippocratic Oath or Best Practices by hospitals. Fear mongering and pathetic hyperbole aside - that is reality.
I’m going to assume you intentionally just vacuumed the grey matter out of the Medicare for all argument!
No, you just changed your stance? In your previous post, you mentioned 3rd term abortion if the baby has a terminal condition. I was responding to that. No, I don't think doctors are that way. In fact, with the change in law, I've wondered what doctors would abort a full term baby. I'm sure many won't do it, but I would bet there are some that will. Sad to say. It's not fear mongering. I don't think this is just happening everyday, but it is legal now so it will probably happen at some point and that's what we're discussing, right?
I'd still like an example of a woman deciding she know longer wants her baby at 8 months and a doctor kills it. Please just give me an example because I cant find one and I'm trying to understand it. Thank you
If a doctor has that low of standard practices, then the existence or absence of a law probably wouldn't change his actions.

FoxHastings said: ↑ NO one has the right to use another's body to sustain their life. !! So you don't have anything to say but said it anyway ...OK... I never mentioned Medicare and that has nothing to do with what I posted....if you can't explain then SHRUG
