    There is no such thing as "Trump administration scientists". They are either scientists or they are not. It's also important that they are climatologists who can explain what would happen should the USA completely shut down. Would the global warming problem, if it is a problem, be solved?

    Not sure who did the estimate, but new estimate for the cost of the green new deal, to the US, is $93Trillion. I suppose AOC has that in her EBT account... right?

    You know entrenched congress persons wield far more power than their floor vote. Committees are the name of the game. She got turned down for a number of committees that only go to those with seniority

    Freshman are far from powerless compared to you and I. She gets to vote on very important issues and her vote counts just as much as the old timers. Add to that the fact that this dumb little girl has a cult following of equally stupid snowflakes and she has a disproportionate amount of power for a freshman.

    Good for her that her mother wasn't so dumb back when they were predicting the end of the world before she was born. Don't kid yourself the scientists were predicting sure extinction back then as well. I remember in the 80's we were going into an ice age due to aerosol. Same game different game. This lunatic actually now is blaming winter snow storms on Global Warming. It's amazing how whatever weather cycle we're in now fits the narrative. 2020 is going to be fun.

    Here: Maybe this will help.

    About 90 percent of CFCs currently in the atmosphere were emitted by industrialized countries in the Northern Hemisphere, including the United States and Europe. These countries banned CFCs by 1996, and the amount of chlorine in the atmosphere is falling now. Scientists had estimated it would take another 50 years for chlorine levels to return to their natural levels. In fact, in November 2018, the UN released a report saying that, based on the latest science, the ozone layer is on track to be fully healed within 50 years.
