This is a warning to all those who are there with no other purpose but to protect Trump. If you cover up for the criminal in the White House, you will end up like Cohen.

 

Translation: Mueller will processes-crime them as well in another fit of partisan politics. The problem, however, is that Mueller is supposedly winding down his massive nothing-burger witch hunt . . . and so he'd best get busy.

 

Only someone on the far right would consider the number of indictments and the number of convictions so far to be a 'nothing burger'.

 

Once again, so entertaining to see Trump supporters pretend that adding an adjective to a noun makes the noun go away. Or to go from the party of "the rule of law" to arguing that things like perjury shouldn't be illegal anymore.

 

Pretty sure Cohen's own decade of tax fraud / evasion is what opened the door for Mueller / SDNY prosecutors. Cohen's was crooked, therefore vulnerable to prosecutution, long before Trump ran for POTUS. Cohen's not a victim, and his ples deal obviously includes immunity for peddling presidential access to corporate interests behind Trump's back. Cohen got served another criminal referal YESTERDAY for illegal foreign lobbying.

 

I think the warning should not only go to the GOP congressmen lackeys, it should go to his voters too: If you hitch your wagon emotionally to a conman, you'll become one yourself. If you allow the conman to continue the con, you are complicit and will eventually go down with the sinking ship. We all know that Trump's ship WILL sink, it is only a matter of time.

Just think about how ridiculous it is what is happening here. it is now without dispute that Trump cheated on his then pregnant wife with an adult movie star, who he then paid off to silence her at the most opportune time while campaigning AND EVEN BEING IN THE WH. Just this one episode would have cost any other president the presidency. Yet, Trump lackeys ignore the utter display of poor morals and character by screaming "not a crime". Guess what, if you defend and protect an utter scumbag like that to your death, you' eventually become a scumbag yourself.

Trump voters have to eventually wake up: They have the choice of doing the right thing and fess up to their mistake, or they'll go down with the sinking ship and own their lack of personal integrity.

 

The louder they scream "nothingburger", the more palbable is their despair. They already know that their gig is eventually going to be over. There is an utter sigh of relief that this was not the time, because his GOP lackeys protect him. This time will end.

 

They will end up like Cohen if they lie to Congress, engage in bank fraud and any of the other counts of his conviction. Administrations have covered for presidents forever. Nothing new there.
