May I grumble? What fun it was driving to work in the pitch black today! Only thing that made it better was the pouring rain! Yahoo, I made it!!!

    Fun Party facts.
Name this Legend who was mistakenly listed as a female on his
    birth certificate.
Hitler admired him so much he had plans to kidnap him for
    the German Army.
Was said of him " the man who did not know how to hate. "

That's up, right next to the 'You want it WHEN?' poster, and the 'Boy, I say boy, you're about to exceed the limitations of my medication' cartoon. My boss made me take down the 'Not happening today, Junior' sign. He found it 'offensive'...… ;)

I sit right outside a conference room, so I have this sign posted in my cube:

BE NICE OR I WILL SEND YOU TO A MEETING

    Obviously, few people are nice.

Last night on - The Five - they showed a clip of Mitt Romney
and his Birthday cake.Instead of blowing out all the candles in one
big breath he genteelly picked each candle off the cake and
extinguished.I just wonder if he had his pinky finger crooked.

Hitler was impressed with Gable, Lombard was not.
Yet another good reason for men to stay single. Wives know too much. ;-)

Lombard was Gables love of his life.Everyone knew that.It took most of his life
to get over her tragic death. She was out hawking War Bonds when her plane
crashed.Gable was the undisputed " King of Hollywood.". he was a Man's man.
However he quit as a lumberjack admitting the work was too hard.
He was groomed for Hollywood by an elder woman almost 20 years his
senior.Taught him about Posture and voice command and had his teeth fixed.
Did all his own stunts in his last Movie - The Misfits - { 1961 }.
Ya can't fool the galsy. The wonderful Loretta Young fell in love with
him and had a clandestine affair.Greta Garbo couldn't stand him nor
he her.He was rather nifty in the late 50's Doris Day movie :
    - Teacher's Pet - { 1958 } I need to see about ordering a copy.
he plays a newspaper man who shows how it's done to a somewhat
know-it-all snappy Teacher { Doris Day }. Gable sneaks into her classroom
like a grade schooler in some scenes.Only Gable could pull off that level
    of charm.

I never knew Gable had a Grandson until I read that tidbit.
I'm watching a TV Series { Here's Lucy } that had the entire
6 seasons in a box set at Wal*Mart.I have the Box set of
the - The Lucy Show - which ran before { Here's Lucy }.
    from '62-68. That - Here's Lucy - series { '68-74 } was actually
made to highlight and pump-up the career of Lucie Arnaz.
She is in almost every episode to the max.In retrospect it did
Nothing for Lucie Arnaz's career. She did have about the prettiest
Gams and butt in Hollywood.Man could she wiggle that booty.
But act ... Not in yer life.Very professionally inclined dancer.
Very good at dancing and stage routines.Of course her Mommy
was The Biggest Ham in all Hollywood.PLus Lucille Ball was a
smoker.Rarely saw her smoke in any of her TV episodes.
Maybe that's why she did so many.To keep her from sneaking
    drags off a cig.

Things to do in Denver when you're dead in the water . . .
Check in to the bar, I guess. We're in the midst of a blizzard and all roads in and out of town are closed. The airport is still open (barely) assuming you can get there. Right now you can't.
Anything happening around here I need to be aware of?
