    I saw Teacher's Pet, as I recall he taught the journalism teacher the 4 Ws.
    Today's journalism teachers should learn that lesson before teaching another class - assuming they want their "profession" to survive.

    He lived in Dallas and was sometimes a host on the TV show Cheaters. When I heard he died, I hoped it wasnt drugs. clark-gable-iii-dmn.jpg Still unconfirmed, but his gf talked about his battle w addiction. So sad. He was CG's only gs. :(

    In another scene he is tasked by the Teach { the Lovely snappy Doris Day }
    to write a brief synopsis of a news article on the typewriter in the
    back of the room.He comes back in like a couple minutes.I think he
    was one them " hunt & peck " type on the typewriter.Snappy Day could
    not believe he did the task in such a fast manner.Then she read what he
    typed and was almost shell-shocked.It was concise,well written
    and exemplary.
    Kinda like what I do on a message board.

    Happy Birthday!

    We had a cake baking contest for you.

    But the cooks finished them off before we could get them in the mail.
    They're fired - I am sure their replacements will have more self control - next year. ;-)

    Advice from an Italian.

    If you are not a natural at speaking and moving your hands, stop.
    Just stop.
    You look like you're swatting flies or having some type of medical issue.

    Having grown up Italian by osmosis, I've always had the hand thing going on. Now that I live south of the Mason-Dixon, I get laughed at, usually with the 'medical issue' notation.

    *sigh*

    LOL!

    I talk with my hands, but pretty subtly. Unless I am really mad. Then every word I say has a hand gesture to go with it.

    My mom would use the wooden spoon hand gesture thing.
    Everytime she swung that spoon there was a word to go with it and it went on for paragraphs. lol

    'I...told...you...never...to...do...that. You...don't...want...to...listen? Maybe...you...will...listen..now.'

    When stocks are high and you have a significant gain it is time to sell. When they are belly up it is time to buy.
    Cash is good now.

    Explain me this.How comes Frankie Boy Sinatra looked less Italian
    as he aged.He was a Teen heartrob with his very Italian Locks { hair style }
    in the 40's.
    By the late 60's he was looking more like a Car salesman.
    With his daily groomings as from the Movie - Come Blow Your Horn - { 1963 }
    where his son { played by Tony Bill } tries to emulate virtually everything
    from Daddy { Sinatra }.meaning getting their hair cut every day.Also their
    nails done.Shopping for clothes every day and of course having their
    shoes polished at least twice a day.
    You know ... Like what Real Italian Immigrants do.

    The best advice I heard came about a month ago on
    Fox's 4 pm Neil Cavuto.He had on a very important and admired
    Investor who was pretty old.The guy was supposedly one of the most
    shrewd and successful Investors in America.His advice was to
    not worry a bit about whether a Bear or a Bull Market.Just hold on
    for however long to a stock.Eventually you will make out.That was my
    Grandmother's way of Investing,also.This guy,I can't remember his name
    was also being poked fun at by Cavuto for being a such a world-class
    cheapskate.Never buys lunch for anyone.Ever.
    There's something to that.Some of the Richest folk you'll ever
    meet are also the biggest pain-in-the-butt skinflints.
    Think Jack Benny.

    Those wooden spoons could be deadly, lol.

    In business type meetings, I literally have to intertwine my fingers to keep my hands on the table.

    Try slowing down the pace, keeping your elbows bent, your arms close to your chest and rolling your hands at the wrist. It looks Italian elegant. Ahahahah
