I was running a mtg this week while the boss was out and I surprised myself when this took place...

2 male members of my group were whispering to each other during my presentation. I stopped talking, stared at them and said, "Gentlemen, would you like to share something with the group?"

LOL, it was like we were all in school again... they were taken aback and a little embarrassed, I was surprised how easily that reprimand came out. After a few awkward seconds, we all had a good laff about it... and I finished my spiel without further interruptions.

Now, who wants to go to the principal's office? :roflol:

I don't recall Sinatra wanting Caviar in any Movie. Not much in the way
of Pasta, either.I think he may have been slightly embarrassed by his Italian
roots.Like he dint want to be known as some mere Immigrants son.
Whereas Dean Martin { Dino } was very Interested in his roots
making sure to eat virtually every dinner with his specially prepared
Pasta at Da Vinci Ristorante, eating alone. He would also take along
each night some of his favorite LP's.

I don't think he was embarrassed of his Italian roots.
I think it may have been him trying to downplay his mafia ties in public.

Maybe but in the acting business being the son of an
Immigrant was not viewed enthuthiastically by many. That is why
Jewish Moguls ended up seeking out and Marrying Gentile woman.
Not merely because Jewish females were not exactly the prettyist
ones on the block.Whereas Gentile women, often were.
That also explains why Women willingly marry Jewish men.
Because they are good at handling money and job titles.

I am in a similar position. I cashed in my big gainers during the recent highs. I think there will be a correction before there is a China trade deal.

If I am wrong we will both miss out on a huge rally. That would really suck - but not as bad as losing all our gains.

Missing out is always bad, but I need to set myself for retirement (In six months... if I make it.). I'd rather not lose my donkey, though. Besides, I got enough to live on, unless I pick up a trophy wife.

I'm going to consolidate my retirement accounts. The 401k is nowhere near as flexible as my IRA. I have much better income generating, and capital appreciation options there.

Awww-ight people of the Strange Brews.....we have our first day of 65 degree weather here in the Big City. [IMG]

Sunshine.....thunderstorm with heavy rain and 30-50 mph gusts of wind. The rain stops to let the sun come out for like 10 minutes and then its back to dull dirty grey skies. But hey.....its warm out there. [IMG]

Of course it wont last long and tonight we go down to 35 and more thunderstorms and heavy rain with a high of 40 tomorrow. [IMG]

If we have birthday cake Ill put a candle in the livingroom if someone needs to blow a candle out.
Dont take a deep breath and blow out spit spray mist on the cake. I skeeve it.
Just tell us when the candle's out so we can clap. We'll be in the kitchen eating spit free cake.
