So because someone has a higher IQ than someone else they're better than that person?

 

I mean heck why not, you already have us doing that. Whites already stand behind blacks AND asians and hispanics and EVERYBODY ELSE with their preferential treatment to get into college thanks to affirmative action.

Giving preferential treatment to Asian Americans or any other group would soon degrade their values and ethics, as well as the statistics themselves. I would think that freedom is preferential enough for everyone, as it requires the best from everyone, preserving and building upon all that is good in every individual.

LOL, statistics for those states are N/A for black.. Montana has a black population of 0.43%, Wyoming 1.1%, Maine 1.2%.

Yet blacks commit 51% of gun violence in the US.

It is a black issue but not because they are black but because of the culture which is determined by a number of influences including increased drug trafficking which inspires most gun violence. It is also mostly and inner city issue which again has many influences, some historical.

 

Are you sure that more murders are committed by gun owners than non gun owners?

In spite of all the melodramatic hype about those scary black rifles, the largest mass killing in America on record remains the "Happy Land" fire and the "assault weapon" of choice was just $1.00 worth of gasoline and a plastic container that killed 87 people(1).

Meanwhile, the greatest school mass killing was not committed with a firearm of any type. It was the detonation of a simple homemade bomb(2) that could be duplicated by anyone with even moderate skills.

My point is that a determined killer will find a way to kill. At the "Happy Land" fire, the killer was only angry with one person and the other 86 were just collateral damage.

As I mentioned earlier, America doesn't have a gun problem nor does it have a Black problem.
America has a violence problem that can only be addressed by more accessible and affordable mental health treatment.

I strongly feel that the waste of time eviscerating the 2nd Amendment could be more effectively used to treat potential killers who use all types of weapons.

As always education is key. Why don't they finish school? How do we get them to stay in school?
What English do they learn?

Most people (the vast vast majority, actually) understand that this is a cultural problem. How do you fit in with the predominant culture? Well, if everybody in that culture wears suspenders, but you're walking around with your pants down by your knees, then you're not fitting in with the predominant culture.
