You talk like peer review takes place randomly out side of institutional science. You really have no idea....

Peer review just means a paper has been accepted and published by a journal. Often the scientists that review the paper are not in the same area of study. Depending on the journal it is sometimes called pal review. It appears you really have no idea...

Educate yourself. It’s an organized process sanctioned by related scholarly institutions and scientists.

That’s blatantly wrong. it’s an organized process sanctioned by science related institutions. Where do you get your incorrect ideas ?

Funny how you just proved my point with your link.

Peer review can be pretty sketchy and a group decided to prove it by submitting a gender paper based on Mein Kampf and it was accepted for publication.

Oh, but it’s credible on other issues. So usnews picks and chooses where it will lie and prevaricate and you in your wisdom can tell which one it is. Wow....you guys are so smart.

Do they seriously think that 38 states are going to ratify an amendment repealing the 2nd?

I never said it was credible on other issues. It's not. It's equivalent to Pravda.

I am highly knowledgeable about certain things, and have friends that have high levels of knowledge in other areas. When a rag like USNews is without factual support for their agenda-driven stories on a broad range of subjects, it becomes clear their purpose is not to inform, but to mislead.

It doesn't matter. They're never going to get 38 states to ratify a repeal of the 2nd amendment.

Why do we have to. The 2@ isnt absolute and we can regulate firearms.

The OP said, "Both chambers of the Hawaii State Legislature have introduced resolutions urging Congress to repeal the Second Amendment."

There's no way they will get the 38 states needed to ratify such an amendment.

It’s totally irrelevant. Hawaii should spend their time passing firearm regulations. Trying to repeal the 2@ is an admission that it gives any citizen or non citizen absolute rights to Possess , any gun, any where. It does not. Move on and pass gun laws.

But they said they wanted congress to repeal the 2nd amendment. Never gonna happen. Never gonna get 38 states to ratify such insanity.
