Those that have had a liberal arts edu. are their 'parrots' of choice - their most labored over crowning achievement, lol. There is woefully little free thought & expression of ideas for those that want to graduate at the top of their class - not without bucking the system successfully & dragging prof's in front of the dean, time & again... Students largely, in the true sense of the word, are idiots - malleable minions, adept at regurgitating NARRATIVE talking points... How the denotative meaning of 'liberal' has become so warped, is beyond me, lol.

No, 75% of the efficacy of edu. is arguably to prep students for social cognizance / intelligence & the hard knocks that come with finding oneself in the hierarchy of society (namely, their peers). Sadly, my gen. is coming out of undergrad (even grad school in some cases) & thinking that they are owed something & deserve a 'meritoriousness-less' accolade - for them being them. Better for them to be 'woke' to the 'Hunger Game-esque' reality that life aint fair & meritocracy is the name of the game when all the layers of liberal BS are stripped away...

My thought is get these kids out in the private sector as they complete their advanced training-be that college beyond a bachelors or learning a trade. That will help their sense of entitlement.

 

AOC is starting to drive the national agenda. It is foolish to dismiss her. She is becoming the most influential and effective member of Congress.
