I wonder how many will we offer refuge, who'll then turn around and hate this nation, it's culture, and the infidel citizenery.
This thread isn't about Christianity. It's about sharia happening right now. But good to know you're more bothered by something other than the thread topic.
Do you even know where Brunei is? By the way ... many can not be, not even 500,000 inhabitants ... who also earn a lot of money and are not poor people in a **** hole. But being governed by a bastard and ruled since ever by the bestial Sharia law ...
Another asinine thread that tries to paint the entirety of a group by the actions of a small percentage of that group. One can easily defend a Muslim or Christian individual who has never stoned a gay person while condemning another Muslim or Christian person who has. There is plenty of crazy within any subset of humans, but that does not define humanity. The father of the computer you are working on was forcibly chemically castrated by his Christian government. Does that define every Christian? One can condemn the actions of the religious based government of Brunei while still defending some Muslim family in Minnesota who has done nothing to harm anyone. There is no hypocrisy in that. Christianity evolved in it's dealings with gay people - the hope is that Muslims will also evolve. But like Christianity, it's a slow, painful process.
Please don't tell me you don't realize that followers of Islam and Muslim are referring to the same people.
So you do condemn the policy of the country of Brunei then... right? Cause it sounds like you are trying to equivocate making an actual choice. You are asking that while folks get stoned or thrown off buildings that we just be patient on the off chance their religious vindictiveness may at some future point abate? How generous of you. So, we see what actually does happen in a society that adopts sharia. Brunei isn't the only example of this.
I haven't singled out a single individual Muslim, I'm criticizing the barbarism that's occuring right now as a result of Islam. What are you doing? Seriously. They've just passed a law that makes gay sex and adultry punishable by stoning to death... theft punishable by severing hands. But you wanna run up in here with the SJW ****. What are you doing?
I unequivocally condemn the law passed by the Brunei government. But if I didn't think that people and religions can evolve then how could I explain that just 80 years ago Christians were either imprisoning gay people or chemically castrating them.
Who jerked your chain? My comments were about brunei and the US not the miserable litle country you live in
What am I doing. Pointing out that being a follower of Islam doesn't necessitate violent actions. Being gay in Turkey ( a majority Muslim state ) has been legal since the founding of that country. Legal at a time when being gay would have gotten you thrown in jail in the Christian US. There are posters on this board who think it should still be illegal.
We know that muslims can be good Americans if they assimilste into our culture and become more like Americans than the place they came from
Always nice to hear criticism from a Brit where London is over run with Muslims (looks to me at least 35% while I was there) and has a Muslim Mayor. You guys can't even figure out how to get off the EU's tit....much less get a handle on your invasion.
BuuuHaaaa! Who from Disneyland puked the chain with incompetent comment ... Go ahead and nice weekend!
Your perception of this thread being 'moronic' was more of a trigger than the topic itself. That's telling, and predictable of course. A progressive could be in the process of being decapitated for being an infidel, while still yammering on about 'Islamophobia'. Even after the head was separated from the body, the head would be Christian bashing.
Tolerance of gay people is still looked on as being a "fake" Christian by a number of "real" Christians in this country. It's not just a Muslim problem.
If you want to post moronic and hyperbolic bull crap like your quote above, I guess that's up to you ... but I reserve the right to point it out.
Tell me about these Christians beating the brains out of gay's skulls with stones in America......I'm patiently waiting.
