Her comments about 9/11 were disgusting. How dare she it was just "some" people who did what they did. The whole entire religion of islam hates western values, because they want to change who we are. How do you defend her democrats? Tell that to the 9/11 victims families when they visit their memorials it was just "some" people.
The extremists want a holy war. Right wingers celebrating islamophobia is the exact outcome they want. That's no credible memorial to the victims of terrorism. Its merely the means to create more death and misery.
What a ridiculous comment. Unfortunately there is an unholy alliance, such is irony, between jihadist extremists and far right extremists. They're happy with the hate as it fits both their agendas.
Is the truth hurting? Hate and extremism has always existed. I do not believe it is going away anytime soon. Giving in to a bully does not make them go away.
No, I'm just not a fan of idiotic reasoning. Chamberlain was naively trying to avoid war. Islamophobes are naively trying to create one. I've essentially seen 2 types of bobbins from right wingers. Let's use summary quotes to separate their nature... 1. "Jihadists want a holy war. Let's cave in to their demands and give them one." 2. "We don't like brown people, but attempts to create a race war failed. Let's try Islamophobia instead". Both of course are ugly.
The nazi philosophy is very similiar to muslim dogma. The world had to unite and defeat the nazi regime. Now the ISIS caliphate has been destroyed. Trembling in the dark hoping no one sees you does not defeat evil.
The far right wingers calling for a religious war are closer to nazi philosophy. For right wingers caught into the nonsense, they should be ashamed. They're caving in to the jihadist demands after all.
Most quotes can be disgusting when deliberately taken out of context and that is precisely what Omar's critics have done: EXCERPT "In Omar's full quote, she said: 'Far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen, and frankly, I'm tired of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it. 'CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.' "CONTINUED (1) Ever since Omar began to expose the obscene degree to which disloyal "Israel Firsters" have controlled US Policy making, Israel's right wing lobbyists, other Zionist agents & their complicit MSM in America have tried to destroy her. Her point is that all of us are losing our freedoms because of the criminal acts of "some people". Since many Americans do not believe the official 9/11 story(2) including me, I think that the term "some people" more accurately describes the criminal culprits behind 9/11 than just "some Muslims". The feeding frenzy circulation around this deliberately distorted quote is simply another example of the hatred & fear felt by America's Zionists whose machinations have been repeatedly exposed by Omar. After all, AIPAC etc prefer to manipulate & exploit gullible Americans "quietly". "Quietly lobbying Congress to approve the use of force in Iraq was one of AIPAC's successes over the past year." AIPAC executive director Howard Kohr New York Sun in January 2003 (1)"AOC defends Ilhan Omar for describing 9/11 as 'some people did something' and... No one is calling for a religious war. That is where you are wrong. Was the war against ISIS a religious war? No need to be quaking in your boots. The nazis were beaten.
Yep, both grandads thought against right wing thuggery. They'd be ashamed that we've allowed their hate to grow back.
I haven't ignored anything. I noted that there is an unholy alliance between the two. I also noted that Islamophobia is effectively giving the jihadists what they want. It's a shame you can't derive relevant reply.
The national socialists were simply woke. That's what they thought. Their economy was so bad from the socialist Woodrow Wilson's Treaty of Versailles after WWI, it caused them to believe they must unite and all others were the enemy. That can only happen if we allow the socialists of the U.S. to take over. Trump is more of a businessman with a patriotic bent. The dems came out and publicly announced they were traitors and wanted to overthrow the government. Bernie Sanders did so in his speech. The trouble is, we have traitors in this nation and no patriots to prosecute.
The myth of "islamophobia" is propaganda used to shame anyone from speaking out against islamic terrorism. The nazis used propaganda also. What has worked is destroying ISIS.
As I've already mentioned, the right wingers split into two. There are those that cave in and give what the terrorists want. There are then those that use Islamophobia as a means to promote extremist ideology. We see that here, for example, with the likes of the English Defence League.
The best synopsis from the NYPost as reported on RCP: Rep. Ilhan Omar is proving to be a one-woman wrecking crew for the party as well as for the image of all American Muslims. On top of her anti-Semitism, Omar’s dismissive description of 9/11 as “some people did something” marks her as a heartless ingrate to the nation that rescued her family from civil war and possibly death at the hands of other Muslims. https://nypost.com/2019/04/13/as-trump-soars-higher-dems-reach-their-lowest-point-yet/
I do not see "right wingers" being split. If they are split that means it is not right wingers who are the problem. What it means is islamic extremist apologists are the problem. I do not buy buy into islamophobia. It is the same as saying naziphobia.
What you buy into is irrelevant. We know that right wing terrorism is on an upward trend. We also know that hates crimes against muslims is increasing. The right wing split is appropriate. It would be wrong to condemn all right wingers as racist. Many are just naive and giving what the jihadists want.
In a thread about muslim Omar Ilhan you are going off on the right wing.....whatever that is. What I buy into is relevant. Islamophobia is phony. Islamic extremism is real.
I can just go by the facts. Right wing terrorism? Up. Hate crime against muslims? Up. Rather than making these emotional claims about one person, it's a shame right wingers aren't trying to put their house in order. Racism is a bad. Giving what the jihadists want is a bad.
Actually they are facts. If you want to stick your head in the sand, that's of course your business. However, it's not particularly cunning, given most terrorist acts in the US are committed by right wing extremists.
This is a lefty talking point. Like most of their talking points it is a lie. Hate crime hoaxes are what is on the rise. Terrorism acts committed by extremists can be directly traced back to the islamic ideology. That is a fact.
To illustrate the data... Between 2001 and 2016, according to the US Extremist Crime Database, 74% of attacks were from right wing extremists and 26% were from Islamic extremists.
