Why do you pretend Presidents alone control the budget and why do you associate the 2008 and 2009 deficits to Bush and the late 1990's surpluses to Clinton?

The previous administration turned a Recession around and got healthcare reform passed.

The current administration merely enacted tax cuts that benefit the Richest the mostest.

Why do you claim that today's economy is purely the work of Trump?

I don't now answer my question which I asked first

Why do you pretend Presidents alone control the budget and why do you associate the 2008 and 2009 deficits to Bush and the late 1990's surpluses to Clinton?

All Presidents have the power to veto budget bills.
The numbers I posted are Dept. of Treasury figures for the fiscal years each President is in office and has veto power over said budgets.

Yeah except for the part where the deficit didn't double Trump's first full budget year and the revenue going down part.

If obama is responsible for debt/deficit, the reagan is just as responsible.

That tells me two things. He was paying an assload of state and local taxes that no longer deductible. In most cases the doubled standard deduction wiped out most all of the poor working class federal taxes. You live in a proggie retarded state that pisses away money like water.
Let me guess..............you probably live in a handful of states like CA, NY, or IL. If what you say is factual, then blame your state and local farces of government for taxing the bejeezus out you and then your federal deductions are limited.

Like I said, it is anecdotal, and it does nobody any good for me to argue something to you that cannot be proven. Nonetheless, both my dad and myself have paid more in taxes or received a lesser refund while making roughly the same in our incomes. And it seems that more and more people are realizing the same thing about their own taxes. The point is that even IF the "tax cuts" benefited the middle class at all, the benefits are small, especially compared to the tax cuts that the richest people got.

Standards are fixed for markets; supply and demand works within those social parameters.

So you are suggesting that the tax cuts were actually intended to be effective for conservative states only? There's something we can definitely agree on. My point still stands that the cuts did not benefit everybody like the republicans were promising.
