    The story says it all: Americans before illegals. I believe we should take care of our own before taking care of other country’s problems.

    Show of hands, who agrees with me? On the flip side, who thinks illegals should come first?


    The Trump administration is proposing a new rule to try to block some 32,000 illegal immigrant-led families from claiming public housing assistance, saying it’s unfair to hundreds of thousands of Americans who are stuck on waiting lists.

    “We’ve got our own people to house and need to take care of our citizens,” an administration official told The Washington Times. “Because of past loopholes in HUD guidance, illegal aliens were able to live in free public housing desperately needed by so many of our own citizens. As illegal aliens attempt to swarm our borders, we’re sending the message that you can’t live off of American welfare on the taxpayers’ dime.”

    Having done a brief stint in admin for HUD, I will tell you the waiting list for Americans alone is long, deep and wide. No way, no way in hell should illegal bastards jump the line. Oh and Julian Castro is a beta cuck. I wonder what he did to Obozo to get that job. :eek:

    So we don't have room for more native homeless caucasian refugees? We've met our obligations, and enough is enough? How do admittedly illegal, and UNDOCUMENTED immigrants establish their financial eligibility for subsidies in the first place?

    I am not opposed to helping Americans first, but HUD and Trump is opposed to helping anyone but Trump so let's not pretend this is some noble fight on their part. This is just a political stunt designed to fire up his base.

    Besides, what's the harm in putting those 32,000 families of illegal immigrants on the same waiting list Americans are stuck on?

    My take, give everyone a house. I don't care, I'll pay for it. It's that whole pyramid thingy.

    Look what's at the very bottom? Shelter. That equals housing in today's world. Give it to everyone. I don't care if they have a job or anything else. I don't even mind if the people who own the property make money as a result. Meeting that basic need, along with the others, let's those people to the next level. Financial security is part of the next level. Which means a job. It's hard to get a job if you don't have a place to live. Try applying for a job and having no address. E-mail makes it easier, but tell your perspective employer you're homeless and they won't hire you. Promise.
