Actual victims of sexual assault are victims. Women getting paid less for the same work is mostly a myth. And on and on..... The type of myths the grievance industry need to perpetuate is mind boggling. Seems like alot of trouble to go thru to keep a pay check. Why not just get a real job?
If you want to believe that women getting paid less for the same work is a myth then you are part of the problem that women have had to fight for so long. Seems to me like you have some real issues with people who are real victims so you rationalize and dehumanize them so you can elevate yourself to believe you are better than they are
What is your opinion of, hypothetically and in that alternative, Persons could apply for unemployment compensation for simply being unemployed in our at-will employment States? Would as many women need to try to "pioneer" male dominated fields if they are not the most well suited for it. Those least able to command the best market based wage may opt for unemployment compensation to further their education and skills until they can.
You need some straightening out (wink) Women need to pioneer male-dominated field not because they weren’t suited for them but they were excluded from them. You don’t seem to understand that years ago women were encouraged to be either nurses teachers secretaries and that is why those professions didn’t pay very much because it was female dominated and they could get away with not paying women decent wages Now thanks to the woman’s movement women are able to go to the best colleges further their education and skills and as we see they are taking over medical schools in law schools etc. what do you believe they suddenly got smart?
women who believe in equality are welcome to ask me to be a boy and a friend at the same and to practice becoming more perfect in Brazilian bikini waxing simply because, nice boy friends do in modern times. what is a "full service boy friend" in modern times? a leisurely lube job.
i simply believe markets would be "efficient" by solving for simple poverty than through affirmative types of action.
Women and men who are assaulted sexually or raped are victims. Women who accept less money for the same work are stupid. Women that were denied access to college are dead. sorry you didn't do anything. It was the legislature and the court system.
you're welcome to fight to push people to believe this myth quite a few people do but the numbers are declining. what about me I said women who made less money but did the same work as a man are stupid. If I made less money doing the same work as another man I wouldn't do that work anymore, or I would ask for a raise. If I didn't get it I would leave. Why do you think women are too stupid to do that? This is why I think you're a misogynist.
Duh! You need a movement to bring these things to court. I bet you think the courts just decided it’s time for gays to be given rights.nothing to do with gay activists. So women who got paid less were just stupid. Nothing like blaming the victims. All those gay people who went into back rooms to dance we’re stupid. They just should have gotten arrested .
Of course numbers are declining! But in your world all these things happened in a vacuum. LOL I guess you don’t understand sexism. It’s very easy for you to say what you would do when you were powerless. And I love the way you just oversimplify it and say if I didn’t get my raise you would leave and get a better job...but they weren’t paying women more anywhere ! It was legal to pay them less. An example would be that girls needed a higher average to get into New York City colleges, but you would have told the girl, don’t go to college. It took a movement and a raise consciousness to make changes. Do you think the gay movement just happened in a vacuum?
No you don't, you simply need a redress if grievance. well it started in the circuit courts, I'm not sure if somebody brought a complaint to it. But it was judicial activism, not citizen activism that prompted that ruling. Activists did much less than the average gay it lesbian person did living out. To change the cultural views on it. It's much more likely that a close friend, a child, a sibling or even a parent coming out as gay is going to change someone's mind that idiots screeching in the streets. if they chose to settle for less... Maybe not stupid just desperate or unwilling to push for more. [QUOTEQUOTE]No like blaming the victims.
Getting paid the amount of money you agreed to doesn't make you a victim. Dumb comparison. Women settling for less is nothing like gay people being arrested for being gay.
Pay Gap myths who cares how it's created. I'm a gay guy, I understand sexism better than most women and a lot of men. You can't understand it from your place if privilege. If I was a straight guy, I'd simply be a value l bachelor. I wouldn't put myself into a predicament where is be powerless. Weren't, was? Those words are past tense. Oh wait I forgot you perpetually dwell in 1954. I'm sorry I wasn't born yet I think at the time my mother wasn't born yet. So are you don't really care or value vengeance for the things that happened in the past. I'm sorry do you not understand time is linear? I get that men and women were discriminated against differently half a century ago. I'm not in that time period. It's 2019. I'm sorry I don't think it was shrieking hateful blue haired land whales that we're making a difference. Back in those days I could see feminism having something to fight for. But now when these harpies shriek about the dumbest s*** like manspreading and microaggressions, they're making a mockery of the fight for equality back in the 20s. no but again it wasn't the shrieking lunatics that made a difference, if anything they set the movement back. It was normal people that wanted to be treated like normal people that had the biggest influence on the movement.
Getting paid the amount of money you agreed to doesn't make you a victim. Dumb comparison. Women settling for less is nothing like gay people being arrested for being gay.
Oh yes it was just judicial activism that prompted the ruling.gimmee a break, you can’t believe that. Actually one day the court said you know it isn’t fair that gays are criminalized and barred from housing and jobs so we’re going to knock down the law of discrimination oh yes all gay people need is a close friend or a child and that will change all the laws. And yes women who were barred from high-paying position just really just settled for less, there was no discrimination and then one day the courts said hey it’s not fair....no movements brought any of these things about (sarcasm alert)
