    They're legal US residents.

They're not MORE valuable, they're AS valuable.

    Could you be anymore heartless?

The harm is we are going deeper in the debt hole every day. Don't you get that we are spending more money than we take in. You claim you will pay. Great -- but how about taking your hand out of my pocket.

There are legal US residents because we offer their illegal parents an incentive to give birth on our soil. Nothing can be as heartless as ignoring children facing death to provide luxury for children just because of their location.

Can you imagine the slippery slope if the government started screening people based on the reasons they were born? Good lord. Think about what you're advocating. It's anchor babies now, it will be hillbillies when some Democrat like Trump gets in.

I don't think you've thought this through very well.

100% agree. Our social safety nets are for our citizens, not the whole freakin world.

OK, the problem here is that there are American citizens who are family members with people here illegally. What do you do with a HUD application where the kids are here legally, but the parents aren't? If you reject it completely, you're depriving our citizens of our safety nets.

You know, if I can atone and pay for the sins and crimes of my ancestors who weren’t even in this country when slavery happened, then these kids need to suck it up and live by the same rules I have to.

The kids can be adopted by citizens, wards of the state, or live with their parents in their home country until they're 18 or emancipated.

If this is true, I am am ticked off. I will research it.

The fact they get free health care also makes me mad. The rest of us who are citizens pay Hugh premiums and high deductibles and insurance companies deny coverage at their discretion because the PPACA, did not regulate what insurance companies could do regarding all heath insurance policies. The premiums they could charge for high deductible coverage, etc.

Sorry but I do not want my tax dollars to pay for illegals housing, health care, or anything else.

My guess his he or she is not rich -- rather this is one of the 44% (give or take) who pay no income tax and can afford to be generous with other people's money. In the long run this sort of misguided generosity will kill the proverbial goose laying the golden egg.

Your comments certainly indicate otherwise. But if you want to make that sort of argument I will respond in kind by saying only the left wing claims a right to free [expletive].

    that is only true of some on the left;

the right wing has nothing but appeals to ignorance of the law; and blame less fortunate illegals for being illegal.

Do you have an argument that does not involve the use of a generalization fallacy (SMH)?

I understand the difference between legal and illegal. Would you care to explain the concept of "less fortunate" in a legal context?

only illegals don't care about the law. some people who don't care about the law are willing the blame less fortunate illegals for being illegal.

People who care about the law want illegals to be treated as illegals.

How does being less fortunate equate to being legal? Talk about ignorance of the law...

there is no express immigration clause in our federal Constitution. only illegals don't care about the law.

why blame less fortunate illegals for being illegal?

you have to appeal to ignorance to claim that. There is no express immigration clause in our federal Constitution and Only illegals, don't care about it.

Yes, it was. There is no express immigration clause in our federal Constitution. Our Constitution is express not implied. Why blame the Poor for being "illegal"?
