Some minority communities are disproportionately criminal. they could stop being criminals and their interactions with police will improve substantially.

You should now probably cite your evidence to substantiate this claim.

Blacks can stop committing SEVEN TIMES as many homicides as every one else for starters.

For one, the police and private body guards are not remotely the same.

blacks are not committing the majority of crime. anyone who says that is misinformed. however, blacks as a proportion of the population commit crimes at a far higher rate than their non-black counterparts. anyone who says disputes that is misinformed.

Yes. A lot of minorities feel that the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars were racist towards Middle East citizens.

Not sure I believe 99.9% of the time police do nothing wrong.

Even in my community which is relative free of any racial problems, I have seen the police target young blacks and young people. I even have called the Chief of Police to report it. Didn't do much good.

So when called for jury duty I refuse to serve based on my observations of bias.

And, when I see several police cars and an individual driver, I drive around them to make sure they tray the individual right. I urge everyone to pay attention to police stops.

I'd be curious on whatever polling you have on that.

I'm aware. The difference is that the police can break the law with impunity while private body guards have to follow the law.

The numbers don't reflect your accounts. The number of convictions or even indictments don't reflect the story we are hearing, so long as that is the case, this is nothing more than liberal whining based on an anti-police agenda...

I'd like to ask you what you think of the hood's "Stop Snitching" campaign they have going and do you think that effort in concealing criminal activity contributes to the mistrust between those communities and law enforcement?

The first step was getting rid of Obama, because you do realize that this mistrust was stoked by him.
After Michael Brown was killed, a grand jury determined that the "Hands up, don't shoot" scenario was a lie, but that didn't stop Obama from fanning the flames by continuing the false narrative. When he spoke to the UN, he used Ferguson as an example of the "systemic racism Blacks face in the criminal justice system."
In 2016 Obama spoke of police shooting unarmed Blacks. "these are not isolated incidents. They are symptomatic of a broader set of racial disparities that exist in our criminal justice system." But a Black Harvard economist said that what Obama had said wasn't true. Studies show that the police are more hesitant to use deadly force on a Black suspect than a white one.
In 2014 2 NYPD officers were executed as they sat in their patrol car. In 2016 5 Dallas police officers and 3 Baton Rouge officers were killed. All 3 suspects in these killings were Black men motivated by Black Lives Matter's Obama claim of anti Black systemic racism in the criminal justice system.(Sound familiar?)
Most of the police feel that Obama's divisive anti cop rhetoric is to blame for this distrust of the police. It seems like every day, we hear about another officer being killed. They are like sitting ducks because of Obama's racism. Unfortunately it will take many years to undo the damage that Obama has done in many areas.
