Is this analysis of the probable long term effects of climate change logical?

    This sounds interesting.

I am thrilled republicans propose good ideas. Why wasn't this presented by Democrats?

Probably, as climate change has historically had negative effects on the earth and its populations. However, these effects are now worse due increasing population, building to close to the Oceans, building high rise structures, and populating areas prone to fire, tornados. Not to mention structures like mobile homes in these areas.

The irony is that the global warming alarmists are fighting something that is beneficial to the human race.

Yes, I’ve explained on here a few times how warming and increased CO2 will benefit me and everyone else by extension.

When my brother was about 3 years old he went through a phase where he was scared of fresh fruit. Like cherries and peaches. He got over it. This bunch I’m afraid won’t. :)

The Amazon rain forest being lost is the problem. Plant fast growing trees and tall grasses everywhere else.

They have too much invested in the alarmism meme. Much of that is virtue signally which is obvious from the refusal to understand the natural history of the earth and the economic analyses which include both benefits and costs of global warming.

Here is a just released University of Chicago economic analysis of wind and solar. The cost per ton of CO2 ranges above $130 and could be as high as $460. That's a huge carbon tax for a "zero" reduction in global temperature. And of course there is no discussion of the economic benefits of global warming.

No, warming climate has positive effects on the earth and its populatinos, which is why periods of warm global climate were called, "optimums" before that term was ruled politically incorrect.

What do you personally think of this video?

I am quite impressed by it and I think it verifies many of the ideas put forward by AboveAlpha that I quote in the opening post.

No "solutions" are necessary. "Climate Change" (ie, "greenhouse gas models" concerning "increasing surface temperatures") is not happening. "Action" is not necessary.

But what about rising ocean levels in the event of something like the following:

All of this sure seems to tie in with some interesting numbers given by Mr. Graham Hancock?!

This video tends to verify the alarmism that AboveAlpha taught us is logical... and rational..... once the methane begins to be released from the Arctic permafrost on a large scale.

No, it's nothing but scaremongering nonscience with no basis in empirical fact.

So by that do you mean that this image is faked somehow?

Based on what AboveAlpha wrote I suspected that images like this fit with methane being released from the Arctic permafrost at much larger levels than before.

The fact that it "fits" with that interpretation does not offer empirical support for that interpretation.

For the record... although I do take climate change itself seriously.... I DO NOT support any variation of a Carbon Tax.... I support deliberately turning deserts green.... which is a very different type of solution to the problem.

Roughly 99.5% of the ice cover on Greenland in 1900 is still there today. To melt away even half the cover would take thousands of years.

Are you against deliberately using large scale desalination technology to turn deserts green?

Are you against economic cooperation between Israel and her Islamic neighbours?

    They did well....
because a Carbon Tax would not be effective other than setting in motion control over the lives of ordinary people.
