Nah....not "end of world" stuff. More like "double standard" stuff. If a Republican, or worse yet, multiple Republicans made the same ignorant statement towards some other religion, many liberals would be hollering "racist" at the top of their lungs (even though a religion is not a race).

And, as I said, it does seem intentional on Obama's and HC's part...almost as if it was coordinated. Maybe they are just both that ignorant. However, if it was coordinated, then that implies that their audience are nothing more than manipulated minions.

And the only explanation for this, in your view, is a nefarious plot against Christians.

Its not about the use of the words wishing someone a happy holidays. READ THE TWEETS. Can you even comprehend the difference between how they were written in regards to these 2 violent events? Read slow and it might sink in. Its NOT ABOUT TRUMP for fracks sake. Its not about the RIGHT. Its about the words they use....or the words their handlers write for them, since they don't tweet anything themselves before its checked, double checked and pre-edited for how it impacts "certain" people.

Well, it does seem very strange. I would not call a teapot a "hot water dispenser". Those "Easter worshipers" were Christians. They covered all others as "tourists" or "travelers". Why not just call them "Christians". Easter is not a Buddhist or Muslim holiday.....it is a Christian holiday. I could see it if just one of them said "Easter worshipers". That would just indicate that only one of them is ignorant. However, both of them showing the same ignorance? As I said....strange. I don't think it is some nefarious plot against Christians as much as it is setting a narrative of minimizing this attack from being an attack on Christianity.

There were non-Christians at those services - family members who were not Christian.

Maybe it is time to let go of your vile fake outrage and focus on the tragedy itself....if yo are capable of that.

You miss her SO much, it's tragic.... May I suggest you just bookmark her website and read up on her doings every day? (Doesn't mean you have to start a thread on all of them)

Ooooo... there's a link on there called Send Hillary a Note.... wouldn't that be fun??

Christians do not even like to go to church, so I suspect there were not very many in the churches that were non-Christian. I certainly would not drag an atheist to a Easter observance in a church.

Or, if one is a Christian, one might find "attack on Easter worshippers" to describe something much more heinous than attacking Christians. Hitler in part justified his actions as protecting Christianity, so not all "Christian" activity is good stuff.

But on Easter, Christians supposedly worship their Savior's sacrifice where he chose death rather than overthrowing secular power. Bombing people celebrating that is pretty sick ****.

And what does this have to do with Sri Lanka? Do you know any Sri Lankan Christians? I do. They are very religious. And who said anything about atheists? Most Sri Lankans are Buddhist. They sometimes accompany their Christian family members to Church, especially on big days like Easter.

There was a rally in my city this week led by the Sri Lankan Community to show support for the victims. It was organised by a Buddhist, held at a Christian cathedral and there were Muslims, Christians & Hindus present. There was also a service at a Buddhist temple where all those faiths were represented.

Don't assume your experiences translate so easily to other cultures.

This is a common attitude Democrats have towards white people and Christians.

Ofcourse calling white Christian's nutbags isnt racist or bigoted right?

They were in a church talking to their god and got killed. It was either the wrong god, their god didn't care about them or there are no gods.

No, it's more like you have to keep up the twisting of other people's words, as well as the words of God, by intentionally misinterpreting the meaning of what has been said or written so that it can be used as fodder for nasty lying Retrumplican rhetoric.

Nah. I mean, you can hardly discuss modern day Islamic terrorism, 'homophobia', mysoginy, etc without someone bringing up the inquisition (etc) unsolicited.

And you think they tweeted what they tweeted as to not alienate the few non Christians that happened to be there? Yeah, OK. I've got a bridge to sell you=) ALl the word salad thats being used now is to avoid backlash from the true threat. Wouldn't want to upset people who kill and use violence if you draw a cartoon.

That list barely impacted anyone. And McVeigh didn't kill anyone in the name of God. And yet, still doesn't hold a candle to the REAL threat...Muslim extremism. We have a couple in elected positions of power right now, openly hostile towards Jews and the only 1st world Democracy in the ME. Nobody tiptoes around calling Christians whatever they want. Care to guess why? Now compare that to the gymnastics any public figure has to jump through when describing Islam. Again, not even comparable.
