The economy has been on the exact same unchanging trend for 9 years. You know that.

But we know from the economic data that the economy has been on the exact same upward trend for 9 years. We know that Obama cut UE in half. We know that the stock market tripled. We know that he holds the record for most consecutive months of jobs growth of any US president. So we know that any claim or statement of Obama strangling the economy is abject nonsense.

We have official economic data showing the economy has been on the same unchanging upward trend since 2010. Lol

There he goes again. Apparently ignoring the fact that the Obama recovery was the worst in the history of the US.

Demonstrated fact of reality. No faith needed. We know from the official economic data that the economy has been on the same unchanging upward trend since 2010. That is in no way debatable.

And told the story in the introduction episode of the Apprentice in which he acknowledged the financial and correctly stated that recovered and was hugely successful. The talking heads on CNN/MSNBC made complete fools of themselves last night. They thought they had a scoop only because they are so pathetically and poorly informed. Check out Tucker YouTube of tonight show. Don Lemon stands out and Erin Burnett who was on CNBC before and should no better is a close second.

Exactly, Trump was very honest about his problems in the early '90s, and wrote a book titled The Art of the Comeback. Yes, he went eight years without paying taxes due to losses, just like Amazon, Delta, GM, and Chevron.

'Decade in the Red' how disingenuous. How are Trump's (decades past) personal finances pertinent to the conversation today.

Yes. Exactly. It was amazing to see the gloating morons on CNN/MSNBC beaming while telling the story which had been documented in the 1997 book as you mentioned. It was highly entertaining watching the "I'm much smarter than you" talking heads make complete fools of themselves. Reminds me of Jim Acosta at the border wall claiming that it doesn't work because there are no illegal aliens lining up to climb over it.

And the American people rejected trump. It’s why his opponent received 3 million more votes than he did.

His financial problems were all part of an extensive public record at the time.
The NYT story was not news.

It wasn’t Clinton’s idea, per se. It was Phil Gramm’s Idea, and Robert Rubin and the Goldman boys (the same boys who wrote the Trump tax bill).

It was called the Gramm-Leach-Bliely Act.

Well, before that, there was the Commodities Futures Modernization Act, which was also the work of the good Senator Gramm.

Yeah, right. Voters elected Trump because of the pathetic Obamanomics economy.

Clinton supported the legislation and signed off on it.

    https://ballotpedia.org/Gramm-Leach-Bliley_Act

And the GLBA had nothing to do with the 2008 financial crisis.
