Back on the street? Did you read your own link?

All seven of the people Newsom pardoned on Monday had completed their prison sentences.

I'd argue that the proclivities of the left are largely suicidal.

Communism/socialism/mass migration. All of these will self destruct entire countries, not just little pockets of kool-aid drinkers.

We basically have a global push to have us drink their laced kool-aid.

About cutting refugees, who already served their time, some slack in immigration court? Yup!

Why do you feel it is fair to show preferential treatment to convicted criminals and gang members while we deport those who did not commit crimes?

From what I have seen, several links are posted daily (by the RW), in which the narrative of the OP makes clear that they didn't read the entire article before posting.

Something just comes across the RW Fever Swamp social media feed, and then somebody rushes here to post it (without even knowing what they are posting).

Over the weekend, a high-profile member of PF's RW posted a link from over 3 years ago (as if it had happened in the present day).

Something that could've been easily prevented, if the member had even taken a minute to read the article before posting.

No big deal. That is history, let bygones be bygones, live a let live, etc.

That said, I do wish people would actually read (and actually comprehend the narrative of) their link before posting.

I don't think that is too much not ask (even if it is "only the internet").

Now back ON-Topic, as far as Newsom's Pardons, I support the policy 100% and I hope he keeps it up in the future.:flagus:

You should start a thread in the Ancient History forum, or maybe the Who Cares About My Whataboutism? forum; otherwise, please try to stay on topic.

    The mods will thank you.

Thats your opinion and that fair enough. I am curious why you think criminals and gang members should receive preferential treatment over those who are being deported having committed no crime?

It seems like sort of a wasted policy in California.

Unless, of course, Newsome can pardon them by the thousands and ship them to PA, MI, and WI in time to get registered to vote Dem. In 2020.

    ^Now, THAT would be plan.:salute:

It’s all just become a joke with anybody showing up at the Southern Border and reading a two sentence piece of paper given to him/her saying ‘I’m scared to go home, someone might hurt me’. Then they get released into the country of plentiful social benefits and start popping out anchor babies. If they get arrested for committing a crime the Sanctuary city will refuse to turn them over to ICE......it’s all good and we’re the suckers they laugh at......

We should just open all of our borders........stop requiring visas and let anyone who wants to come enter the US and sign up for social benefits. I read an article the other day that said 700 million folks would come if we did this........I think the number would be closer to 2 billion........but what the heck........’we are a nation of immigrants’ and our wealth and generosity has no end.........and we would all feel good about ourselves.......and nobody would call us ‘racist’ ever again........and we would all live happily ever after......night night

They aren't here to represent Americans, they represent illegals.

The Supreme Court ruled, in Obama vs Arizona, that the executive branch has plenary authority and power over immigration. Where did that go???

As far as I know, his pardon doesn't mean a thing when it comes to federal laws. They cannot leave the state without being prosecuted.
