The smearing of Nigel Farage begins . . . "Leave.EU founder confirms he funded Nigel Farage in year after referendum." The born-to-rule elitists really must be getting worried - I've been wondering when the demonizing will start, and now it has. Well a plague on both their houses - or should I say Houses? A patriot being denigrated by a pack of traitorous opportunists is really what it boils down to. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48315552
And now the foreigners have joined in: According to BBC Radio 4 news this morning, and the Independent newspaper which has a firewall, the EU is to carry out an investigation into Nigel Farage's connection with Arron Banks, but I'm unable to supply a link from either of them because I can't trace the actual story from any other sources. That's really weird for a big story like this, isn't it?
The following has just appeared on the BBC news website, not as one of its own headlines, but quoting from The Independent: "The Independent reports that Nigel Farage could face an investigation by European Parliament officials over claims that he failed to declare nearly half a million pounds in gifts from insurance tycoon Arron Banks. The Brexit Party leader has insisted that any donation was made after the EU referendum, when he was planning to leave politics, and was a purely private matter. But the paper says Mr Farage remained an MEP - meaning the gifts would "likely have had to be declared" under transparency rules." Yep, they're all after Nigel like a pack of starving African hunting dogs. This business is going to have a seismic effect on the political establishment, and I suspect it will be the end of Labour and the Conservatives as we know them.
"Brexit party's funding must be investigated, says Gordon Brown Former PM is concerned ‘dirty money’ from foreign donors could reach Nigel Farage’s party" 'Gordon Brown'? Who he?? Oh yes, I remember who he was . . . he was a corrupt politician. "MPs' expenses: Gordon Brown billed taxpayer for two second homes Gordon Brown claimed parliamentary expenses for his constituency home in Scotland while he was billing the taxpayer for a flat in London, The Daily Telegraph can disclose." So his 'dirty money' reached him courtesy of the British taxpayers, rather than 'foreign donors' then? lol Wonder how much dirty money he's being paid for that little anti-Farage broadside? They just can't bring themselves to disappear into well-deserved anonymity after being booted out of office, can they. Blair's just as bad - turning up in the headlines like the proverbial bad penny every 5 bloody minutes. And Major. https://www.theguardian.com/politic...unding-must-be-investigated-says-gordon-brown
Today's anti-Brexit party blather "At an event in Glasgow, Mr Brown said there was no way of telling whether donations to The Brexit Party - which can be made through PayPal - come from British or foreign sources, and therefore the system was being abused. You can pay to this party in Russian roubles et seq." Trust this useless ex-jobsworth to subliminally suggest a 'Russian connection'? What he and others are too dumb to understand is that the more they disparage the Brexit Party in the person of Nigel Farage, the more it will backfire on them, because it will seem like they're bullying the underdogs, and we Brits don't like that.
Bearing in mind Mr. Brown's tenure as Chancellor and subsequently PM I think the best thing Mr. Brown can do is fade into privileged obscurity
That'll be the day? It amuses me to watch him strutting up and down a stage like some oracle dispensing his words of wisdom - especially when I remember how effing useless he was?
A patriot? Nigel Farage a British Patriot? ROFL .... sorry Cerberus, but what did you smoke? The only thing why he is for you is the fact that he is the Chief Clown of Brexit. Let him have done all the same in anyother - non Brexit issue - and you would be one of the first who wants to put him on a pyre! And yes ... this patriot never gained any sit in UK parliament and sits therefor in EU parliament and is being paid by the EU. Irony, eh?
Not really. He was a banker before going to the EU. He witnessed UK pay for what became the EU in the 1980's.
Aha ... if you think so! Sorry, I will for sure not ask what you think or what he claims to ha witnessed in the 1980 in case of EU etc. ... I still know so far about that it will be a next tirade of claims of evil EU etc. No desire to read and the to refute it with real facts again...
Ehm ... I never told and even thought taht you are stupid! We are both light years away from each others opinion about Brexit ... but this does not mean that I think you are fool. And ... were did I insult you here?
