EU are so anal; we don't have Coca-Cola.

We have made in the UK under license in the EU Coca-Cola.
We never had Marlboro cigarettes, we had Made in under license Switzerland EU friendly cigarettes (smoking's bad).
We don't have Jim Beam Kentucky Bourbon, we have Jim Beam Kentucky Bourbon bottled in Glasgow, under license... We don't have Budweiser, King of Beers, we have Budweiser, King of Beers bottled in the UK under license! - Was a time when this alien looking beer came on the market called Budweiser from somewhere in the EU and the EU cried forcing me to find a beer called Bud in Amsterdam that was bottled in the UK. But it doesn't matter when it's under license anyway.

What the EU is, is forcing us to accept genuine imitations of American FDA.

I say; FDA for the UK and **** the EU and its customs making me grow up only knowing a genuine ****ed with imitation.

Bastards even put aspartame in my regular genuine imitation bottled in the UK Dr. Pepper.

The EU, therefore, is a genuine imitation, and nothing more.
    It's not a country, it's a sabre rattling nobody.

The EU wish to protect against American bourbon because America wanted to protect against German cars while BMWs were being made in South Carolina and Jim Beam was being bottled in Scotland.

    How dumb are we?

Politics don't decide ****, it's the capitalists - politicians are just civil servants who we should be telling them what to do; we don't listen to them, they listen to us scenario. Who cares what EU or USA or UK want, private companies will still do what they do.

I think I forgot for a second that in reality, there are ways around unless a tyrant shuts it down.

I think it's funny that a lot of UK'rs are always bashing Trump when your own PM can't even wipe her own ass. If Trump was your PM, Brexit would have already happened, deal or no deal.

Prime Minister Trump would have said to the EU
    "You're fired!"

Mmmh ... or you let a judge quickly revoke his citizenship in the US as long as he is in the UK and do not let him back in? ;-)
He shall climb illegal over his wall towards Mexico to come back ... :-D

Sorry ... I have to disagree.

Under British law, Parliament must decide and agree. And that's the problem in the UK ... because they could have been out of the EU long ago if they did not block themselves in parliament.
Vote on Brexit with the negotiated deal - no majority of votes in parliament = No!
Vote on Brexit without a deal - no mercy of votes in parliament = No!

Since it does not matter which idiot in the UK plays the PM .... because the UK Parliament is not able to say anything at Brexit by a majority Yes!

Yesterday the UK voted in the EU elections...

Wasn't even 24 hours ago, and, it's already forgotten about.

For weeks it's been Brexit Party this, EU elections that...

I forgot how unimportant the EU parliament is.

I know not everyone has voted, but we have, and nobody bothers to mention it.

And the EU would get a laugh attack and give the award of "idiot of the year"! ... Wait ... he still got this award as US President, I forgot!

You don't get it in your head that it does not matter which idiot plays the PM in the UK ... because it is the UK Parliament which has to vote and decide about and not the PM ... and that this is the problem, because this UK Parliament votes with No for a Brexit with deal and it votes with No for a a no-deal Brexit!

Can you tell me what is so hard to understand and accept here for you?

Counter point ... did anyone in the EU seriously take notice about the voting in the UK for the EU Paerliament? As soon as the Brits are able to say the EU with majortiy in paerrliament how they want the Brexit, the UK members of the EU Paerliament are fired because as non member of the EU, no membership of parliament!

Hey ... "You are fired!" ... sounds great!

Because the EU has its rules that anyone who wants to export to the EU also has to accept ... just as anyone who wants to export to the US needs to accept the US rules?
Because the EU wants to protect its citizens and consumer protection in the EU is clearly better protected than in the US. See labeling requirements for food!

Why should the EU bow to any wishes and demands of the US if these are against the interests of the EU?
Sorry, the US is not in a position to make demands on the EU here ... but many Americans do not get that, or if they get it, they're upset that they are the smaller one!

Hostile? Cause and effect! As the US acts towards the EU, the EU acts towards the US!

Lol ... as if the British paid big here. Good joke. Apparently already forgotten in the 1980's and the beginning of the1990's where UK got more money from the EU as help than they paid to the EU!
And on the Edne remains the fact that this community of 27 more of the little ones is in sum the greatest. That's good, because all 27 can protect against people like Trump!

Every country that wants to become a member of the EU has to contractually assure that it generally adheres to diverse democratic core values because there is no place for dictatorships in the EU.
If Mr. Orban in Hungary says that he no longer wants to fulfill this contractual obligation for his country, then he should leave the EU with his land and make a huxit!
No ... that's not what Mr Orban wants, because he gets a lot of money from the EU, which he and his country desperately need. No ... Mr Orban demands that the EU does not give a damn about these democratic core values.

So ... So you're a fan of Orban against democracy and core values without which a democracy can not exist ... or how am I supposed to understand your statement here now? Very interesting!

    ....
Lol .... who is biggest common market and economy in the world again? Sure .... no sale! ROFL!

Bloody hell! Why does not UK finally say "we want Brexit with no-deal" with the necessary majority in parliament?

Why is this Parliament full of idiots saying no ... but also about the deal being negotiated as an alternative No?

Well, the UK still voted to reject the EU in the UK, and that's something you'd have to live with @Mandelus
The first country to be given a choice voted to leave the EU.

You can't act like other countries wouldn't have voted to leave the EU if they were given that choice too.

In the end, the agreement Theresa May made with the EU was her own undoing.
Her replacement won't be as foolish, no deal seems to be back on the table.

Britain doesn't care if it shows other EU nations the way out of the EU or not, all it cares about it not being being bound to the EU in all but name.

The EU can't give the UK a good deal, otherwise all 27 members will want it.

When people say 'The Lion has awoke' I think they mean we as a people in the UK will vote no to anything it doesn't want.

Hopefully we can find something we want in a world post EU.

Time for all the no deal WTO supporting MPs to sell their case so Parliament can move past the EU.

You started and lost 2 world wards and now about to do the same with the Third.

It is Germany to blame for Brexit. Yes, you read that right.
It's Germany who invited on her own millions of barbarians in Europe in 2015. Later on in 2016 the UK said at the referendum "that's enough, we're outta here! We don't need this mindless EU and Germany."

    Enjoy!

Ehm, I mean that the EU is existing on borrowed time. We've already had a referendum and we don't need another one. You know as well as I do that there is great unrest in the other member states, especially France and Italy, and I suspect in the Iberian countries too, but it's being kept very very quiet. I feel sorry for what lies ahead for the Eurozone populaces when the mierda hits the fan.

Is it? Well if you're living somewhere in Europe you won't find it truly funny when it happens, you'll find it truly horrendous.

For who? The EU or the UK?

Why would the UK care about being close to the EU in the future when being a member of the EU is closer?
What's so great about a customs union, handing over Northern Ireland to remain a part of the EU and paying 1 penny to the EU little lone £39bn?

    A deal that'll lock UK to the EU while not getting a vote in the EU, separates the country down the Irish Sea and takes money;

Take your meds for saying this is a good deal.

A deal with America would also be out of the question in such a deal with the EU, the EU can't offer nothing and expect to take everything.
