Was just curious. I was confused because I've been reading about many things in which the figure of 40 billion applies! Other than the 'divorce bill' cost to leave the EU, apparently 40 billion is also the amount of money that it has cost Britain since the vote to leave and apparently 40 billion is the amount of EUROS that Britain's exit from the EU would cost the EU. Pretty insane coincidence.

    Bike?

Well, I've a little more history with this guy, as a Londoner, I remember first hearing of Boris Johnson when he ran against Mayor Ken Livingstone and won in 2008 having 2 terms as Mayor of London, in which he took credit for

Thanks RoL. Just think what we could use that for, instead of handing it over to a bunch of bureaucrats who'd squander every penny, which is what bureaucrats do best? Build a few hospitals and mental health facilities, care homes for the elderly, fix the roads infrastructure, pay off the national debt, end austerity and give tax cuts to workers, and that's just for starters?

He's just been elected to the EU Parliament.
It seems he's in the wrong parliament to be PM.

I wish it was a leadership race between Malcolm Rees-Mogg and Boris Johnson, I really do.

Yeah, I was wondering how that would work. Theoretically, could he run for PM? This would obviously mean that he would be able to hand his EU seat over to a colleague after the next election.

No. He'd have to be an MP first with a parliamentary party behind him commanding a majority in Parliament or at least coalition commanding a majority who voted him as their leader so that he could become PM.

it isn't so....it might be so ....it might not be so....who programs the models....who decides on the biases in the models....how many models are there...over what time frame are these models accurate...are they accurate...everyone is just pissing in the wind
Modelling is great fun....I do aircraft modelling....I've been doing it for years and still get it wrong....

Well if The Brexit Party had enough candidates who ran for election, theoretically they could command a majority. If this was the case, anyone in the party could be PM, no?

yes....only if, as you seem to be implying, he becomes a UK MP and should they have a majority or commanded a coalition majority following a UK general election for the UK parliament.

So when you originally said "no" to my question, "could he run for PM", what you really meant was YES!

Well the prerequisites for being Pope are DECADES of Catholic service and reaching one thousand years of age, so Farage is out of that race for some time yet. However I thought that you agreed that he CAN be an MP, therefore CAN be PM following the next election. What other prerequisites are you talking about?
