He gains nothing by testifying, except he fully answers the questions about how his report and conclusions were mishandled and possibly misunderstood... Rarely does anybody gain anything personally by testifying to Congress.... Not the way it works...

How do we gain? His feelings about a summary are moot. The report is what matters.. If the Dems imply that somehow he left information out of the report his ass is on fire.

 

Since when do witnesses, even important ones, get to negotiate for this long?? Nadler officially requested Mueller's presence on 4/18, which is 40 days ago... The only thing that takes that long to negotiate is for Trump's sex night with Melania...

 

So why hasnt Nadler had him arrested as he has suggested for others.. Perhaps the Dems know Mueller has nothing.. Mueller saying so in the public dooms all their petty investigations.

 

So why didn't Nadler subpoena him? Yes, there is a reason he hasn't. The other side will be asking questions that democrats are afraid of.

I understand why he didn't originally, but I think the time for pleasant requests has gone by the wayside.. It's pretty clear there is more going on here than meets the eye, and I'm pretty sure it's not going to fall fully on Mueller when it comes out...

Sorry. I have no clue. The last I heard, Mueller wants to appear in a closed session. I haven't heard anything more recent.

I don't have a strong enough opinion to be willing to speculate beyond that.

There is also a good reason why Mueller would not want to join the politicized dem shyte show. His own reputation.

 

I don't know ask your Dem committee, I do know the republicans negotiated with Holder for over a year on fast and furious before he got subpoenaed. You heard a them release a statement saying that part of Wolfe book was false that will be released. What you haven't heard from Mueller is that Barr didn't call him, He didn't agree with the summary of the report, that Barr was lying about him disagreeing about how the media was characterizing the summary, or that he's being told not to testify by anyone. So we know he'll correct the record when he feels necessary but he hasn't corrected any of those things, which logically says he more or less agrees.

 

Right... he needs to defend it a little bit, since his output, while interesting and damning, was not what most people were expecting... We need to hear it from him how and why some decisions were made, or not made...

Pretty standard stuff... don't be afraid... he's a good soldier.... he'll stick to the script...
