People post videos instead of quotes so they can lie about what it says. That video does not show Obama saying Russia can’t meddle to help trump.

Several of the RW on here are defending Trumps "fight all subpoenas" plan.... Putting a subpoena on Mueller day 1 would have been torn apart by the conservative base... I know it and you know it..

And even though he didn't expand much from his report, Mueller confirmed again the OLC document was the driving factor why "Charging the president with a crime was, therefore, not an option we could consider."

That takes care of that... it's now undisputable fact, if still legally debatable.... and Barr misled everybody again... If he's going to claim he misunderstood Mueller, it's clear Barr is in full dementia status...

I still think Mueller should appear to answer the Barr questions and somebody should ask him the hypothetical question just for fun, but I suspect he won't appear publicly...

he said that would not be fair to Trump for him to declare Trump guilty, because without an indictment he would not have a chance to defend himself in court.... all he could do was present the evidence of guilt and let Congress decide

These poor folks who have fallen for the Russia Collusion nonsense for over 2 years. I feel sorry for them. Kinda like the folks who believe Jim Jones and then followed him to South America.....

You mean his claim that it wouldn't be fair that the President couldn't defend himself? In which case, the actual 'investigation' itself was unfair. The scope memo gave him the authority to do so, and AG/DAG Rosenstein at the time gave him reassurance of that authority.

You have to understand the nature of Mueller's character: He's nonconfrontational by design, which is why this was a 9 minute, controlled setting. Politician, Mueller is not.

Jesus.... either these people didn't watch Mueller or didn't understand these simple concepts.. Truly sad...

"He wasn't indicted so he must be complete innocent"?? JFC....

But the information is still there, should a federal prosecutor want to take action upon a change of administration.... wouldn't that be fun to see Trump indicated 10 minutes after President Biden is sworn in??

OK... Next day.... let's let Joe have a full day of fun...

Counsel would have lost IMO in Court, even if Trump were a regular joe. I'll put it real simple: A desire to obstruct, isn't the same thing as an intent to obstruct(and intent requires followthrough, which is absurdly lacking in all instances.) This isn't to mention the other facets that never attempted, endeavored or could be interpreted as an attempt to endeavor to obstruct justice.

I've made a very elaborate post before, on the weakness of Counsel's case and no one has taken me up on the offer.

I saw him give a completely self-serving weaselly comment about it. And nobody was allowed to challenge him on it because he wouldn't take any questions. Had I been allowed to ask him a question on that, I would have nailed him.

You're still going on this 'Barr misled' nonsense? Barr interjected Mueller's opinion into the report, you can read it. Barr also overruled with his authority as AG, to give an actual determination. Mueller himself appreciates that the full report was actually put out there.

There is no misleading, there were two legal opinions and you got to read both. The only way it's 'misleading' is because you heard that dumbass Nancy Pelosi "speak it into existence".

This is Mueller taking the easy way out.

Mueller was going to be the hero of the left, but he struck out & milked this investigation for every penny.

He doesn’t want to face the tough questions so he took the easy way out.

Here is a few questions the left would never ask Mueller.

Why was your team made up of all Democrats including the attorney for the Clinton foundation?

When did the FBI find out the Steele dossier was full of lies?

When did the FBI find out the Clinton campaign paid for the dossier?

That’s just a few of many questions the coward Mueller dodged.

We all appreciate the "full" report was put out there.... there was almost no choice in that, but I still give Barr what little credit he deserves... can you imagine the discussions if nobody had read even the redacted Mueller report yet?? (for the few that have).

Barr's efforts in this won't be forgotten... it's of secondary concern to the bigger picture, but it certainly put ALL future Barr actions in focus as the Masterful Hairsplitter...

Barr has misled on 3 distinct occasions now (The Summary, The Testimony, the Press Conference).... it's a pattern...

Congress may have follow up questions mueller didn’t, or questions about what’s been said since then.

Those are also the 3 dumbest questions to ask the Special Counsel I could imagine.... I can answer all 3 and I promise you I'm not Robert Mueller

    1. We put together the best team possible from available resources for the investigation mandate I received.
    2. I wasn't in the FBI at that time.
    3. I wasn't in the FBI at that time.

He certainly didn’t say he’d ignore a subpoena. Just hinted he’s hoping not to get one lol
