Like this Mueller speech was not just another attempt to SPIN the facts hoping the American people would allow impeachment. But not so fast... Let's not forget Mueller has been part of this COUP from the very beginning. He, Jim Comey, and Rosenstein pushed Jeff Sessions out of the way so they could go after Trump. The fact he wasn't able to clearly prove either charge after two years should speak volumes to those intelligent enough to distinguish between the truth and corrupt politicians trying to spin for political purposes. If they EVER get to the bottom and do a REAL investigation regarding all the left's corruption and start connecting the dots, they'll find Mueller was in up to his neck. And let's not forget, the democrats are DESPERATE to get Trump out because they fear they can't beat him in 2020. Also given the fact all the evidence will be coming out shortly against them, they needed to get ahead of that and deflect everyone's attention onto Trump because deception is what they do best Tom Del Beccaro: Robert Mueller's abuse of our legal system continues... There was no reason for outgoing Special Counsel Robert Mueller to speak to the media Wednesday. Once again, he has abused the legal system. www.foxnews.com
It wasn't in Mueller's purview to indict Trump. Nothing wrong in his explaining that to the American people. Sorry if it doesn't fit the Trump FanBoy book of weird laws as written by a political hack for Fox News.
States of Justice: 1. Innocent. 2. Proven guilty. 3. Cant prove guilt but lets imply it anyways. Oh no wait the third one doesn't exist.
I personally think Mueller is implying guilt (mind you with ZERO proof) because my theory is that he has been working for the benefit of the DNC and the MSM. I cant speak for others.
I don't see it quite the same. I think he had ever reason to speak to the media. He is not going in front of any Congressional committee (at this time) and there was a lot of speculation, unanswered questions, and flat out lies about what his report states. I think Mueller was put into a no-win situation. People were going to be upset with him no matter what he came out with. He just did his job the best that he could do. I think he did not declare guilt on obstruction because there was no collusion on Trump or his campaign's part and because Trump's antics were fairly ineffectual.....but there was possible obstruction. Overall, I think Mueller did a good job for what he was asked.
What? I'm saying he did. I think he held that presser, in which he just repeated what was already in the report, for no reason than to give the impeachment movement Democrats ammo to put more pressure on Rep Pelosi. What other takeaway can there be when a top tier prosecutor says "we cant prove guilt but uhh ya know we didn't prove innocence either"? Well of course he didn't "prove innocence", that's not how the process works. Prosecutors prove guilt and this one couldn't. But still the powers on the DNC want impeachment and the fact the Mueller report they've been building their entire anti-Trump case on came up a huge limp dud for them was just unacceptable. This is a game that's being played right now and its pretty clear what side Mueller is on.
Did Trump stop Mueller from investigating? I don’t remember any time when the Mueller investigation was “on pause” because of something Trump did.
Depends on if Mueller or his boss ignored Trump attempting to obstruct or if there was no obstruction. Mueller only stated that his purview did not include the ability to indict a sitting President. Mueller was being truthful about that.
Oh great then why was he hired? If he couldn't find crimes what the hell was he doing. Do you really for one second think that if Trump conspired with Russian he wouldn't have said that? you really think for 50 million he would have said ahh I can't exonerate trump for treason? Really?
Trump yelled and screamed for two years, but I don’t recall him stopping the Mueller investigation. Trump is like an angry baseball manager, screaming to his coaches that he’s going to go out on the field and punch the umpire. Then his coaches tell the coach that would be stupid and he should just calm down. In the end, the manager sits down and doesn’t punch the umpire. Trump didn’t punch Mueller.
Mueller was hired to INVESTIGATE possible Russian interference. He did find crimes and people were indicted. Mueller is just saying that it goes beyond his purview to indict a sitting President. He said he couldn't exonerate Trump of all crimes - he said nothing about treason.
You're 100 % right....he, Weismann, Comey, Rosenstein, the Clinton's, Obama, and the entire democratic party were COLLUDING to take Trump down before he even took office.
Mueller turned over his finding to 12 different investigations that had different purviews - we don't know what Trump did, or did not do - but Mueller did indicate there might be something. Whether that was financial, or political is something that will have to be investigated by the other arms of the justice system and Congress. All we know from Mueller's words today is that HIS findings were not a complete exoneration of Trump.
So you don't think he showed bias when admitting he couldn't prove guilt on either charge but still implied he felt Trump was guilty? Is this a banana republic or the US where people are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty? The fact is, given all Mueller's close connections to the democrats and Comey, he should have recused himself from the gitgo but he didn't bc he wanted desperately to nail Trump. It's called... BIAS AND MOTIVE.
He didn’t recommend any charges...hence he is clear. It’s obvious mueller really wanted to find something but fell short. Additionally he made clear he is done, and won’t be working with the Dems any longer either
We know that Mueller handed over findings to 12 other on-going investigations. We know Mueller can't comment on those investigations. We know that Mueller cannot indict a sitting President. That's all we know for sure.
You don't know what Mueller handed over to the other 12 ongoing investigations. We only know that Mueller didn't have the authority to indict a sitting President and that Mueller did not feel his findings completely exonerated the President. Beyond that is speculation.
So he gave the SDNY another branch of te DOJ the evidence to indict even though he concluded he couldn’t? Haha
