Because Trump is a self-proclaimed deal maker. There was a report on National Geography about the early US economic tycoons like Rockefeller, Carnegy, J.P. Morgan, etc. ... where then active and former CEOs of large US companies made comments and comments ... including Trump! One of his comments was: "If I do a negotiation with someone and the other does not get angry after the trial and the closing of the deal, then I made a mistake and I am angry ... because then there was more for me to get in the negotiation!" They live in relative prosperity. This is like the best period of their nation. Why should they mind living under communist dictatorship? That’s the same reason many Russians are missing USSR. Between 1950s and 1980s they had the best and most prosperous times they ever had, even though they seemed poor from Western standards.
