We're talking about abortion. Regulations for abortion are already in the hands of each state.

You may not be capable of understanding. The SC did interfere.
I explained how it sanctified slavery.

Cure was to create a law. Slavery ended.
I recommended Democrats create the law they want. Solves everything.

I think you overestimate the number of women who want the 'choice' to terminate their pregnancies especially after the first trimester.
The push to endorse abortion even post-birth is very similar to what they did in the USSR in 1920. It's a Marxist thing.

When did the GOP say they wanted to overturn Roe V Wade? I only heard that from the left.

The 9th and right to privacy only applies to oneself. It doesn't give one a right to terminate another life.

    Try to keep up.

    Right!

An individual doesn't have a right to terminate another life.

There is nowhere in the U.S. constitution that says the Federal government has a right to be in the abortion business.

    FoxHastings said:
NO, each state of the UNION does NOT get to decide if women have the same right to their own body as everyone else.

    Regulations are. NOT outright bans...

Banning abortion IS taking away women's right to their own body.

A right Americans should have in EVERY state.

A fetus has no rights until birth.

Anti-Choicers want a fetus to have MORE rights than anyone else.

Ironic that you consistently PROJECT that PF VIOLATION ad hom of yours.

Terminating a fetus is NOT terminating the "life" of another person.

Those who can keep up understand this DIFFERENCE as it applies to the LAW of the LAND.

The Federal government has an OBLIGATION to UPHOLD individual rights like a woman's right to an abortion.

What value would you like us to put in a single human cell ? Did you cry real tears when you scratched an itch the other day and ended the lives of thousands of skin cells. Was that "life" not valuable to you ?

Did you morn after you ate your last meal - morn for the cow that was killed if you had a steak - or morn for the life that was killed when you ate that piece of fruit ?

I will tell you what I morn for- I morn for the massive amount of pollution we are dumping into our Oceans - for the depleting fish stocks and the high levels of mercury in those fish - that we are treating the Ocean like a garbage can - which by the way is the #1 environmental issue this planet is facing - not CO2.

Number 2/3 are not CO2 either - 2/3 are population growth and industrialization - because they are exacerbating the pollution problem.

If you want to morn - try googling "dead zones in the Oceans". This is happening due to fertilizer and sewage into the Oceans. That is what you should be morning when you eat that steak or piece of fruit.

A number of years ago I read a study that said if China was to reach our level of consumption - world resource production would have to double. This is just China - never mind the rest of the non -industrialize world. At the time of this study there was 1.4 Billion industrialized out of a population of over 7 Billion.

Industrialization is heavily pollutive for the first many decades. The world is now rapidly industrializing - to go from 1.4 to 2.8 will result in a huge increase to Ocean Pollution (and of course increase in CO2 but as stated - this is a secondary issue) - and this is not even half the total.

By 2030 the world population is expected to be 8.5 Billion. Forgive me if I am not that concerned about less propagation.

If an alien was to observe the earth - they would claim that this planet was diseased - and that disease would be humans.

If humans were to observe another planet - where some life form was doing what we are doing - WE would claim that planet was diseased.

You are arguing for more of this disease.

Nuking India and China would definitely help - no doubt about it. (see post 171). The problem is that they would nuke us back so this is not a great idea.

Abortion is not separate from Birth control. Many anti aborts are against birth control as it acts after the zygote has been created.

Regardless - the topic being discussed is propagation of human life - abortion is just one way to decrease propagation of humans- contraception is another.

Regardless of what you recommend to political parties, most Americans support Roe v Wade as the law of the land.

The states that had rejected the US Constitution were forced to recognize the Black Americans they had enslaved as persons, having rights under the US Constitution.

Before the stage of viability is achieved, there is no person.

You are quite delusional if you think that conservatives ever championed civil rights. Lincoln, although the first Republican was quite liberal. Teddy Roosevelt was also quite liberal

Although right wing from about 1900, the Republican Party didn't turn conservative until after Johnson's Great Society, And it was when the Republicans began to embrace Evangelicalism, that they drove the last liberal away.

Are these not currently prime characteristics of the Republican base, god deluded people who would prefer a world of nothing but White conservatives. Seems so to me. Add in some guns and liberal bashing and seems we have all the pillars of conservatism.
