By opting out of owning guns, you're giving us a power monopoly.

Im not exactly complaining. You of course have the right to not buy a product, and that should not be changed.

But why wouldn't you buy a gun, if you're so concerned about us having guns? Is it that you believe the police will magically appear the instant a 'right wing nazi' pulls his ghost gun bayonet lug high capacity clip machine gun to mow down your children? Or is it that you think its going to shoot you in your sleep from inside your gun safe?

Or is it that you arent really afraid of the every 10th person you cross in public who is armed?

As colleges across the country ban conservative speakers out of fear for their safety...

Like Ben Shapiro is going to stop his speech and assault them.

It looks like the government will soon be funding our rights. If tax money can be used to pay for abortion why not to pay for guns? Not everyone can afford an AK47.

I actually HAVE been buying guns because right wing lunatics are unstable in this day and age.

I believe the day is coming that the facists in the right wing will become violent, and I will need to protect myself from their insanity.

Did you ever stop to think that many who don’t own a gun do so because they’re just not interested in guns? Most of my friends don’t own guns, not because of any other reason than they just aren’t interested in guns. Many times it’s as simple as that.

Dead on! Conservatives are indeed typically driven by fear. That's why they are fanatical about guns. It is their blanky.

I've always had guns because I want home defense and have enjoyed shooting. I stopped hunting by about age 15 because I decided I don't get joy from killing things [kinda sick that so many people do]. But the current fanaticism over guns is just sick.

Personally, I don't care who else owns a gun. I carry a gun to protect me and my immediate family. My wife, children, and grandchildren have all been trained in revolvers and semi auto's safe operation and use including an AR15 that I built with my 13 year old grandson.

So you have the same fear that we supposedly do, having guns for home defense. I hope that you don't eat meat, as that is just killing things for fun (meat isn't necessary, so you are asking somebody else to kill something for your enjoyment).

The hunters I know don't get joy out of killing an animal. They do however get joy out of eating lean meat that has no antibiotics or hormones added.

People who try to defend themselves from guns by banning them instead of training with them.

Most hunters I know do get some of their satisfaction from the kill. But this is genetic I think. Only recent human generations are not dependent on hunting for food. Prior to that, all of human genetic history rewarded good hunting with prosperous life. It stands to reason that enjoyment of hunting would be a positive inherited trait.

But I dont know anyone who would be hunting if they couldn't eat the results.

If you're interested in earlier & older firearms, you can get a C & R (Curio & Relic) License from the ATF and buy a wide variety of older semi automatics, bolt action rifles etc & have them mailed to your home.
The license was only $30- & good for 5 years.
Watch out because storage space gets to be a problem after a few years...

I am sad for 572,000 people who died by guns in USA 1999-2016.

I do not need such dangerous toys.

why do some people care if a group of extremist carry assault rifles down the street, I guess cause angry hateful people with guns are scary

why do cops ask you if you have a gun when they pull you over, are they scared of guns?

the truth is, I could care less if you own a gun, but if you wave a gun around in public it could accidentally go off, especially if your acting eradicate or angry

this is what can happen if you own a bb gun - had this guy not owned this, he would be alive today, but instead he comes back to his hotel room after a night out and has to deal with this

I choose not to own a gun because accidents happen, and sometimes cops can over react and kill you because of it

They do? That's news to me. I have NEVER been asked if I have a gun the times I've been pulled over.

    Because.................
Myth: Owning a gun makes you safer
Fact: Owning a gun puts you at heightened risk for gun violence

The NRA often argues that the United States is a dangerous place and that owning and carrying a gun is the only way to protect both oneself and one’s family. While gun ownership is certainly one option for home defense, a growing body of data and research shows that owning a gun also increases the risk of a gun-related tragedy occurring in the home.

so you hide the fact your concealing a gun to a cop when they pull you over? why?

if they think you have a gun yes, they do, and your supposed to tell a cop if your concealing a gun when puled over - why? if they are not dangerous, shoudl be no different then having a pack of smokes in your pocket

Some states mandate that you must declare a concealed weapon when contacted by police. Alaska for example. Some states don't, like WA. All mandate that you have to declare a concealed weapon if asked by LE.

As a general rule, I cooperate fully to the extent that I'm required to by law, and not a bit more. I don't tell the police anything that I'm not required to.

That's a rather odd statement, given the irrational fears driving the gun control efforts of the left.
